7 places sorted by featured
Our Featured sort order ranks tours, activities, and experiences by several factors including the revenue generated by Tripadvisor from these bookings, your individual user browsing history and preferences while using Tripadvisor, the frequency of user clicks generally, and the volume and quality of customer reviews. Occasionally, newly listed offerings may be prioritized and appear higher in the list. The specific placement of these new listings may vary.
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
Such a great experience, we would definitely do again! We doubt we’ll come across a better experience, including going to the market, having good conversations, and making great food! We came home and made the tamales for our family…definitely a hit! One thing to know ahead, don’t expect to eat until 4-6 hours after your class starts, so you may want to eat something right before, as drinks were plentiful and they were great hosts! Jorge and Edwardo knocked it out of the park!
The class was amazing and informative. I love that we got to make our own bar of chocolate as well as the chocolate tasting. I highly recommend this tour.
Chef Winnie is a Great and funny lady who really gives a fun cooking class! We had a blast! Afterwards we had dinner with our cooked food and it was great!
This experience was amazing. My husband and son attended as well and there were three others participating. The experience was exceptional. Chef David has a great energy. The participants ranged from professionally trained chef to my son who was for the first time cooking! The food was amazing And Dave shared all types of tips. Highly recommended this experience.
This tour is new and has a few logistical kinks to be worked out. With that said, the tour guides hearts were in the right place. We enjoyed a trip to the beach, learned fantastic history, made chocolate, enjoyed the farm, hiked to a waterfall (this was a rugged hike but worth viewing) and we also experienced a protest which included a long layover because the highway closed for hours. Our guide was very caring and flexible. We ended our evening at a marina to have sunset dinner. All in all a great adventure.
