My family & I went on May 16th
This was such an historical place to visit. The transition of the water from 1 canal to the next was everything for me. The sizes of the ships & the story behind it was inspirational. After watching the ships come & go, the letting out & the refilling of the canals with water we end the excursion with a documentary about the canal in the movie theatre. I felt so good to receive that great knowledge about Panamá. Lesson I didn’t even know that I needed but I’m so glad that I did. Panama is such a beautiful place & I would love to go back:

The “old town” is a must see while in Panama City. You can see the gentrification in progress. Lots of shops and great restaurants.

We very much enjoyed the IMAX movie on the canal. After, we were able to watch a ship going through a lock. The rest of the center is closed for refurbishment

Glitzy and touristy area, nice to take a stroll on the water. Go for a meal or a bike ride. It has a lovely view, but it's not actually very interesting. If you don't have much time, this isn't highly worth it in my opinion.

This museum is truly remarkable, offering a wealth of historical insight into the former US colony in Panama, famously known as the Canal Zone, and the fascinating history of the canal itself. I highly recommend it.

We took an evening stroll along the waterfront every evening, great place to take in the beauty of Panama. They also have dedicated bike paths for those who ride bikes.

This waterfront is absolutely amazing! It's got a dedicated area for people to walk, ride bicycles, play basketball, and so much more. And guess what? We were actually lucky enough to be there during a national festival (carnavales) where we got to enjoy live music and mingle with the locals. Talk about a unique experience!

This is a must see if you have the time. Board a boat and cruise around the lake / jungle where you will see ships, crocs, birds, monkeys and so much more.

Very beautiful nature and we managed to see a sloth, toucan and all sorts of animals in their natural habitat. Very clean from garbage and personnel friendly.
