Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

WOW! What an amazing experience. The crew were helpful, knowledgeable and great to work with. Turtle experience was fantastic with a lot of turtles to swim with. Had our 9 year old grandson with us and it was easy for him. The sea scooters made things easier for diving down to submerged turtles.

We were 10mins late as we went to the wrong landmark and the guides were very understanding. We felt very cared for and the guides were completely across our safety the whole time out in the strong currents. We were with another group who were not able to swim well and they had every type of flotation aid to help them.

We saw at least 5 large turtles and 1 ray which not everyone in the group saw as it just swam past us unexpectantly.

Papa Turtle was a lovely gent who knew his stuff and “jellyfish” was a great photographer. They used iPhones inside these great lens type covers.

I wished it was a little longer and maybe a bit more explainers out there about the different fish and animals but it wasn’t expected, just something that might add some value. Definitely recommend.

An informative tour about the local life, amenities and history of the island. Included wax a short stop over in a beautiful garden setting for light refreshment. Loved it. Highly recommended.

Honestly I just loved doing loops in the water with the sea scooter, another primo - the tour guide was low key hot... but on another note if I were to do it again I might do the turtle sea scooter because the water around the ship wreck was a bit foggy, but the deep blue part that you swim through if absolutely stunning and is electric blue. Loved every minute of it! 💛💚💛💛

Really lovely cycling tour. Corrina, the guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly. It’s a really easy bike ride so no need to be fit or anything - you stop every couple of minutes and there are only 2 very small hills. Lunch on the beach at the end is lovely too. I did this on my first day and it was a great way to learn about Rarotonga 😊

Breathtaking experience! The team was super attentive and safety was a top priority! We also organized our hotel transfers with them and they showed us around the island and a small hike as well which was very kind.

    Will definitely be back!

We originally had something else planned for our last day but our plans fell through last minute. It was 09:00pm the night before and we had nothing planned i had searched up stuff to do everywhere but everyone was booked out.
I found charlottes page and send her an email asking if there was any chance she could fit me and my partner in for our last day, we did have a budget but were willing to pay for a good experience.
The same night she got back to us and said she could fit us in for a private tour the next morning at 08:30am which we took the offer and went there in the morning. Charlotte was so lovely and awesome to talk to, we had a guy who took me and my partner (cant remember his name) but he was such a cool guy and they offered to take photos on the iphone camera or their professional camera. We had our own go pro so we decided to go with professional photos. We had such a fun experience and it felt super safe and saw beautiful ocean life. The only downside i did have was that it did feel rushed towards the end but I was cold so it doesn't even matter.

We got our photos 3 weeks after the tour and they were absolutely stunning!
    Thank you!!

This is a relaxed but fascinating insight into early Rarotonga. Strolling around the residential and historic buildings behind Avarua opens up a picture of this beautiful island most travellers do not see. The beautiful homes and gardens, the substantial missionary buildings and the government and traditional owners' properties provide a rich background to the storyteller's insights. Our host was knowledgeable (particularly about the local flora) and accommodating. The pace is leisurely, and the welcome drink in a local watering hole was a fitting finale.

We took the anti-clockwise bus to the snorkel drop-off stop, where we were soon met by Mets and Maddie, two of Ariki’s very pleasant and competent tour guides who explained the basics of swimming with a scooter in the fast-flowing channel to the deeper part of the reef. They carefully described their safety procedures, and outfitted us with good quality masks, snorkels, and flippers. We went into the deeper channel with a 10-adult group of young and middle aged folk, with one guide leading, the other bringing up the rear. Our little scooters, the very latest, dragged us along easily through the current flowing by the coral drop-off. We saw several turtles, including a 90 year old-timer and plenty of colourful fish. One particularly good thing about the tour was that our guides kept us together, never letting us become separated. The scooters gave us extra oomph to skim along with ease and made it a thrilling experience, particularly for people who have snorkelled before. A personal view: I don't think this is appropriate for young children, the elderly or the faint-hearted.

This tour is the perfect way to explore Rarotonga. Corina, our Kiwi tour leader, had a great love and deep knowledge of her adopted island and happily shared entertaining information about the local culture, history, and plant life. Totally recommend taking this fantastic tour.

Friendly staff who were very helpful. Recommended a few eating spots and places to visit which we absolutely loved. Especially since it was our first time being in Rarotonga

Booked for this tour as i love history. Waited outside Trader Jacks and no one came. Finally rung up to be told that as i was the only person on the tour, they had cancelled it. Would have been nice to get an email or call to advise of this!
