Marlon was wonderful, answered any questions we had and explained what we were seeing. I would definitely recommend seeing this market but going with a guide. The market is huge and you could easily get lost!

Really happy that my friend recommended me Maniti expedition. Guide Segundo was so caring and professional. Speaks perfectly English and organized everything very smoothly. We had so many activities every day. I also had ayahuasca ceremony and it was one of the best experience in my life. Thank you very much!

Great guides, comfortable accommodation and nice food. Good variety of activities and close to a local village if you fancy a few jungle rums

My friend and I did a 1 day private tour in Iquitos with Kelwin. He showed us Belen market, took us 2 boat rides, feed Paiche and hugged a sloth…

Kelwin is nice and so knowledgeable. He made sure our safety and comfort. At same time, showed us so much. It was such a fun and rewarding day!

I recommend Kelwin to anyone who wants to do day tour from Iquitos.

We had an amazing time with Kelwin and the trip down the Amazon to Monkey Island. Kelwin was very quick to respond @whatsapp, was on time to pick us up and made the whole experience very enjoyable. We stopped along the way to see the native aquatic species and Kelwin explained the whole center. He even pointed out many dolphins along the way that we would have missed.
    We highly recommend this experience.

I recently enjoyed an unforgettable 5-day jungle tour with Lupuna Jungle Lodge, where the beauty of the Amazon rainforest truly comes to life.

Our guides Jair and Luis were fantastic.

There were many sightings of wildlife thanks to our knowledgeable guides who shared fascinating insights about the jungle life, medicinal plants and local culture and habits.

The night walk through the jungle was an adventure like no other, as we explored the darkness with flashlights. We encountered tarantulas, which, while initially intimidating, became a fascinating learning experience under the guidance of our expert hosts.

The combination of breathtaking wildlife and the serene comfort of the lodge made this trip a remarkable escape into nature that I highly recommend to anyone seeking an authentic jungle experience!

The lodge has plenty of hammocks to enjoy the early morning sounds of the Amazon awakening. Incredible captivating sounds of birds chatting amongst them.

The food was very good. Amazing what Marie can serve in the middle of the jungle.

The local town of Puerto Miguel gave us a glimpse into the everyday lifestyle of locals embracing the jungle day in and out.

Since I went toward the end of dry season, the water level was relatively low.

    Highly recommend Lupuna Jungle Tour

The tour and guides both Frank and James were great - super knowledgeable about animals, trees, plants and made it feel personal bringing us to the town - Frank arranged for us to play soccer with the locals in he jungle town and James brought us to his home and fruit fields - felt very local which I liked. Great mix of activities fishing, jungle walks, swimming, looking for fruits, night time walks and cooking.

I opted for the lodge experience last minute over camping and they were super flexible and let me do it for no extra cost. Very responsive when messaging as well.

The lodge was very basic but had showers and good mosquitos nets to keep bugs away while sleeping. Was what I expected for a jungle experience. The food was fantastic at the lodge and a little different each day.

Was disappointed with the transport on the way back to Iquitos as it was super delayed but wasn’t necessarily the fault of this company as it seems like they contract it out. Hopefully they change providers. The boat took a full 3 hours, we waited for 1.5 hours for a car to then drive 2 hours back to Iquitos. I had to move my flight even though it was very late in the evening. Recommend booking a flight for day after the tour ends to avoid this.

Note that it’s a long journey from Iquitos - 4-5 hours if everything goes to plan. So would recommend minimum 3 days, 4 days or more is best.

Excellent way to see a fascinating market. Our guide was professional and knowledgeable. It would be very hard to appreciate and understand the market given the scale without a guide.

A whirlwind 3-day tour to experience what the Amazon jungle has to offer in just three short days. We had an amazing time during this adventure. They kept us busy with activities before, in between and after meal times. This tour was definitely a highlight of our Peruvian adventure. Loved the dolphin-finding-mission, jungle walks, piranha-fishing, star gazing, bird watching and much more! Meals were interesting with many different types of fruit juices I have never seen anywhere else. Rooms were comfortable and swimming pool was a very welcome cooling-down mechanism.

Our expedition to the Amazon jungle was an incredible journey. From visiting the monkey reserve to embarking on walking tours in the forest, every moment was filled with excitement and wonder.

Exploring the jungle on foot allowed us to discover lots of unique plants and wildlife, from colorful birds to elusive monkeys swinging through the trees. Piraña fishing added an exhilarating twist to our adventure, as we tested our skills against these feisty creatures in our daily canoa 🛶 trips.

One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the Boras village, where we were warmly welcomed by the indigenous community. Learning about their culture and way of life was a humbling experience that left a lasting impression on us.

Throughout our journey, our guides ensured our safety while also instilling a sense of responsibility towards the environment. Their passion for conservation was evident in every aspect of the trip, from minimizing our impact on the jungle to educating us about sustainable practices.

We had so much fun exploring the jungle! Every day was different, and we saw lots of cool animals and beautiful trees 🌴birds and Amazonic Plants 🌱

I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to have a fantastic adventure in the Amazon!

This tour is perfect for those wanting a small taste of an experience of the Amazon without having to spend too long dealing with pesky mosquitoes.

Our guide Segundo was awesome, picking us up promptly, leading us safely through a jungle walk and was super passionate and knowledgeable about everything he showed us.

Despite being wet season, Segundo’s energy didn’t let the average weather dampen our experience.

Highly recommended to anyone looking for a brief but exciting experience in the Amazon. You may even see some dolphins 🙂

Kelwin made this an unforgettable experience. We literally flew into IQT from LIM for a one day to/from flight just for this Activity as it seemed like the best way to see the most in a day. We saw so many kinds of animals such as monkeys, ant eater, sloths, and more. He went above and beyond to make this a memorable experience. If we come back we will definitly book a different trip with him.
