I purchased the tram ticket but when I got to the top, I was told that I needed to purchase a separate ticket to access the full viewing area. I decided not to do that but got some nice photos off to the one side. Our tour guide Helen was so nice and so informative. I enjoyed spending the day with her plus met many other nice people. I really thought it was cool to see the world's longest escalator. Helen chose a great Chinese restaurant that offered some amazing dim sum food. Andy was a great guide experienced both in local and foreign life. (I'm usually so introverted that I rarely talk with your guides yet I enjoyed chatting about real estate affairs in Japan)

- Lisa LMelbourne, Australia347 contributionsEasy to find the pier and the queue for our departure was managed well. we left from Tsim Sha Tsui Pier 1. Our departure time was 7.30pm but we lined up areound 6.45pm and were about 8th in line then. They line up pretty early.
The pier can be crowded we were lucky we walked down the night before so we knew where to go.
On board you need to move fast to secure your seat, we chose seats on the deck, comfy seats and a table with a drinks holder so you could put it down without risk of it falling over.
A lovely trip on the water lots to see and photo opportunities. my husband had beer, which was cold, so all good - served quickly and chilled.
We liked the laser show but it is a but underwhelming compared to all the hype that comes with it. The lights and displays the hotels put on were good, can understand why its not more spectacular, but its a shame they don't tell you the earlier boat ride had a drone display, we were lucky to see it while standing waiting for the boat to come and pick us up.
In any case, we were happy with the boat trip, cool breeze and just enjoying the moment.
There are plenty of people to help you disembark.
We bought tickets direct.

Experience at the Buddha was awesome and was worth the wait. For some reason all the people with pre purchased tickets waited 2hrs plus and the people who purchased tickets on the spot got to jump the queue which was very frustrating. All in all I would still recommend to do it as long as you’re happy to wait in the queue. The yacht stops on popular spot for passenger shooting. And, their staff are very helpful and lovely. They are not only to introduce the Hong Kong information, and help us to photo taking.
