Lots of history and all is well preserved. Place can be crowded but it is still worth visiting. Guided tour is highly recommended.

Nice site to see. Liked the Avenue of the Sphinxes. Good history and great to walk around. Loved the statues throughout.

Surprise visit here was great. Didn't know much of the history until the guide explained it all. Enjoyed the facade and looking around. Worth the visit.

Great museum, really worth a visit. The displays are dust-free and well cared for. If you have been to the temples and tombs near Luxor, this museum showcases the statuary and artefacts that were excavated from those locations. We went in the evening and it was much cooler.

This tomb is an added ticket when you visit the Valley of the Kings but it is worth it. Given the mystery surrounding it and its late discovery, the excitement of actually seeing it was special for us. We loved the paintings in the burial chamber and the history of the discovery was also interesting.

As others have said, this is extra cost, but worth it. The colours and the paintings are amazing. The intricate detail in the hieroglyphics is mind-boggling, particularly given the scale of the tomb. Very worthwhile as an addition to the three 'normal' tombs that you are allowed with an entrance ticket.

This animal hospital cares for injured horses, donkeys as well as street cats, dogs & tortoises. They don’t charge Egyptians for the treatment. They also educate children on how to care for & treat animals. It’s an important place to visit to see the great work they do. Highly recommend a visit (tour takes 30 mins). Donations aren’t requested but are vital to the work they do.

Very little remain of this site, beyond the two colossi and other massive statues. They are still impressive just by the scale and give a sense of the awesome size of the sanctuary that hosted them

One of the most impressive tombs in Luxor, and of all Egyptian tombs, so i have the pleasure to see this year for the first time. It was amazing and well preserved tomb full of colours and meaning, the preservation team have done a very good work, it is expensive, but it values the money, I recommend of course, and if I can insure I will go there again. Do not miss this amazing tomb, for me is the number 1.

The village of Deir el Medina, home of the workers who built the royal tombs KV, and their tombs are well worth the visit. Being return visitors with reasonable knowledge we simply found a taxi driver, Asem, with good English who knew exactly where we wanted to go from the corniche in Luxor across to the West Bank. Negotiated a price that included waiting and then taking us on to some specific nobles tombs before returning us to our hotel. Much cheaper than a guide and private tour.
