Jin/Jacob is a very talented guide, informative, entertaining and very well organised. I enjoyed being part of a group of like-minded curious travellers keen to explore new flavours and taste experiences, and Jin’s personable attitude and inclusive nature helped make the tour even more enjoyable. I loved meeting in the market to purchase items for the class and then heading back to her house for the lesson. She was such a good instructor. It was easy to follow all the steps and to learn about the culture and foods at the same time. My teen daughter and I loved it! The food was delicious. We loved every dish and he shared a lot of interesting information about the food and neighbourhoods we were in, as well as Korean culture in general. I especially appreciated the fact that he was able to organize vegetarian substitutions for some of the dishes. Our tour guide is also army and she shares with us tips and tricks and recommendations where to eat/take photos/go. I enjoyed my trip even if I was solo. I was scared also that it might be overcrowded but it was not and everything was just perfect. The tour comes with free snacks and merchandise freebies. It was surreal to visit the shoot location of BTS In the Soop 2. We did the dmz tour with Alex and he was so fun, knowledgeable and so informative about the history of Korea and the DMZ. Alex was very professional and the tour was on time.
