He didn't state fact after fact but interacted and debated ideas with us. He was very thoughtful and paced each activity according to us.

Sasha's historical knowledge, engagement, and familiarity with the structures and rhythms of life in Israel from top to bottom, and knows how to tailor a trip to every group's energy, needs, and dynamics. I've seen many of Israel's tourist attractions and cities on previous visits, but never have I learned so much in such a short time. On day one, Avraham picked us up at the kibbutz where we were staying and took us to Jerursalem, specifically, Hebrew University and the old city. We saw the amazing sights and took a break for a fantastic Middle Eastern lunch. We stayed overnight in Jerusalem and Avraham met us the next day at our hotel. On day two, we went to Qumran, Masada, En Gedi and the Dead Sea. Avraham was a fount of knowledge about Israel including the human history, of course, but also the geographic history of the land, which is also fascinating. Unfortunately, we did not have much time in Israel, but we were able to see and learn so much with Avraham as our guide. He calmly handled all the logistics so that we could just relax and enjoy. He was extraordinarily patient with all our questions too. Having a private guide might seem like a splurge but it was well worth it. - Randy1 contributionMy daughter and I were with Avraham for 4 days. He is very knowledgeable, personable, and has the experience to know the little things that most other tour guides would miss. My daughter has lived in Israel for a year and a half and has been to Masada several times previously with school tours. She said that Avraham was the best guide by far. We walked around Masada for quite a while as he pointed out the differences in each of the Roman camps at the base and how the siege was done. He explained in detail how the water system worked and why the group living there had left Jerusalem. He gave us a lot of information about the dead sea and how much commercial activity goes on. - עאמר פ1 contributionWe were group of 6 , loved the mixture of the sightseeing and the off-road . Some of the sights are really monumental like Jerusalem and Masada while on the other side of the spectrum is the Holman highs wild Wild West :-)
Loved the local street good and mostly the gokedem guide for the oversight and linking history and present of this magical land. My mother is in her 60s, it was her first time to visit Israel, and we wanted her to get the most out of it without exhausting herself.
We wanted to know more about the incense route and the Nabateans, as well as to see the Negev. I have to say the guided tour was very well researched and made the visit to Avdat truly worthwhile. Kobi was professional, well prepared, very friendly and thoughtful - he asked the staff at Avdat to put up the Chinese version of the introduction video for my mother without us even asking.
In the afternoon we went on a off-road in Mizpah Ramon which my mother thought was the highlight of the day.
The tour was exactly what we asked for. Communication was timely and the tour was well planned and well executed. We were very pleased to be able to do and see so much in one day without feeling rushed at all.

Its a magical land and he really knows the area, the hidden trails and historic places. Even my 15 year-old was impressed! We got to explore abandoned Syrian fortifications, amazing views, then did a 2-hour hike on the most gorgeous mountain trails to a spring and waterfall.
All followed by a Druze feast -- fresh-baked pastry with lamb -- that I am still talking about.
