Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The first and oldest Disney park. What we were not aware of is that at this time of year there is no parade or fireworks, just a light show. Obviously, we should have checked on that, so our fault. My family and I have always enjoyed the Disney Parks and this was our fifth Disney park. We had hired a car in San Francisco and driven to Los Angeles and based ourselves in a hotel about four miles away. Due to problems with taxis we decided to drive to the park. The traffic was very heavy at the entrance to the car park off the West Ball Road and it took about 20 minutes to get parked.

Once inside the park we had a great time although 100 minutes queues did put us off a few things, As it was supposed to be a quiet time of year we did not purchase fast track passes. Overall we did enjoy ourselves, but the projections onto the buildings on Main Street at night were obscured in places by the trees.

If you are a Disney fan it is still worth a visit, but do your homework better than I did.

I LOVE it over here!!❤️🥰!!! I dine @ the restaurants here-LOVE Carthay Circle & Magic Key Terrace! Soaring over the World is a favorite ride! I also like Carsland. Little Mermaid ride seems to be the shortest line/ fastest & it’s adorable🧜‍♀️

The Downtown Disney District is conveniently located next to both of the parks, making it easy to drop in for a meal or some shopping. As an Orlando local, I avoid Disney Springs at all costs. But this was cute! Tons of restaurants and shops.

This is by far the best ride at Disney's California Adventure.
The way it's themed and designed makes you really feel like you're in the movie. I love that you can have two different experiences depending on which direction the car takes you.

I recommend using the single-rider line if you don't mind not riding with your family. You get to stand in line with them and you will wait only a third of the time.

I wasn't sure how this would be since we love the Tower of Terror so much, but our love of the Guardians of the Galaxy made it amazing. Lots of humor and action that you would expect from the movies as well as some fun Disney magic to make the ride more enjoyable.

This place if you have kids from say 1 to 12 is the best, its only 26 bucks in, there are unlimited rides, no queues, its clean well run and not a rip off. We brought our 1 and a half year old and she absolutely loved it. We spent about 2 and half hours there, there are plenty of places to take shade and sit down, park the buggy and toilets etc. we thought it was a perfect size for kids, you can let them loose as it’s not a big area, and then there are 2 roller coasters and a drop ride for the Tweenies, we went on the rollercoaster (minus the baby) and it was really good. There is also a small animal petting area where the kids can brush goats and a pig and there are chickens. Also there is free parking. We liked this place so much we went twice in the same week. Cannot fault it 10/10.

Kind of lame for adults but very cute for the young set. Our grandson loved it. Practically no wait and a nice diversion for the kids while you wait in the shade.

Our VIP tour with Mauricio was incredible. Details were planned out over the weeks leading up to our tour via email/phone with the Disneyland VIP team. The day of the tour, we used lightning lanes and entered through exits of each ride. Mauricio gave us background info and interesting facts throughout the day. He was fantastic with my 5 yr old niece and she adored him. The experience is very expensive, but for our large group of 8 it was well worth it. We were able to ride everything on our list in 7 hours and never had to wait more than 10 mins even for Rise of the Resistance and Matterhorn. The day was relaxed and so fun! Thank you, Mauricio!

This is the original Jungle Cruise and it's still fun and packed with puns and one-liners from the Captains.
The queue line is sort of a disaster to migrate through (at least compared to other queue lines here) and I don't know why they did it that way, but thankfully our line moved quickly and we got right to the fun.

I mean, this is an absolute classic, so we had to try it out, but compared to some of the new stuff, it's a bit underwhelming.
However, it is also nice to sit and chill in the cool air for a bit as you enjoy the show.

it's worth the visit. Walking by yesterday, Stand Bys were getting right on, so we went. Took awhile from being seated until we "left the dock". The "creatures" etc, are all pretty cheesy. At least they have A/C and good ventilation inside so if that is an issue in other "subs" don't worry about that here

This is an amusing, interactive show with an obviously quick witted entertainer doing the voice of Crush.

Expect Q&A but only 3 or 4 kids will be selected for a question, so don't come in expecting to ask a question. Questions seemed to be taken either from the floor area in front of the screen or else the front row of the seats, so don't sit further back if you want to be selected.

We turned up 10 minutes beforehand and just waited in line but there was room for everyone so on our day you could just have showed up immediately beforehand. Not sure if its always like that.

This is still a fun ride, but it desperately needs some updated theming or something. It's not a bad ride, but it takes up a ton of space that could be used for something else. Honestly, this is the same sort of ride that you can find at a smaller regional amusement park.

Let's be honest, the ride itself isn't anything more than Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Not that it's a bad thing, just pointing that out. What makes it great is that Disney is still giving love to Roger Rabbit!!!
Not only is the ride great but there is so much to do and look at while you were waiting in line as well.
My only issue was that there wasn't any Roger Rabbit merch to go along with the ride... I would have purchased something!
