The Magic Duel Washington DC
- You can bring drinks in from the lobby bar! Mark and Brian are great ambassadors for the art of magic!
You are invited to get drinks from the hotel bar before the show begins, and at intermission, but the jokes are still funny without them.

DC Brew Tours Washington DC
This is a great way to see a few bars and breweries in DC and meet a few like minded people.
Many of the breweries/bars are quite far out of the city, which is why I chose to go on this tour; and it was worthwhile if only for that reason.

Carpe DC Food Tours Washington DC
We passed by lots of historic jazz clubs where some of the legends got their start and learned lots of cool tidbits.
I was really impressed with the price of the tour -- with food and drink at 3 different restaurants, I came out way ahead than I would on a typical bar-hopping adventure in DC.

Blues Alley Washington DC
What an evening: Great jazz, with 4 musicians who had each played with Miles Davis and were superb in their own right, accompanied by excellent ribs, blackened catfish, jambalaya, crab dip, excellent bar.
It is a supper club and music venue for jazz and blues --many excellent shows on their roster.
Nightly Spirits Washington DC
Our host Steven provided a knowledgable, gregarious, historical tour of DC's ghosts, political history, and bars.
At the Occidental Bar say hi to Mike and ask for the Tronic!

The 930 Club Washington DC
We like to eat at the Satellite Bar and Grill right next door before show time, fast, casual and easy.
I've been going to 9:30 Club for years and it holds a special place on top as my favorite.
The Dubliner Washington DC
This great lil' Irish bar, attached to the Phoenix Park Hotel across from Union Station, is a real find.
Great bar and restaurant.
Columbia Room Washington DC
Best Cocktail Bar in America
The main bar area had a cozy friendly feel but we really enjoyed the outside area since the temperature was not too hot.
Madam's Organ Blues Bar Washington DC
Friendly bar staff, friendly patrons and great neighborhood to feel safe in.
I've been to quite a few bars and neighborhoods in DC and this place blows away every other bar I've been to in that entire city (in my humble opinion).
Off the Record Washington DC
Regarded by Forbes.com as one of the World's Best Hotel Bars, Off the Record (OTR) is mere steps from the West Wing.
Intimate & comfortable bar with very friendly staff.
Eighteenth Street Lounge Washington DC
Home to Thievery Corporation folks, this multi-room, multi-level club has a variety of scenes within the same bar to suit different moods.
An amazing night club with 4-5 bars and different music...
The Board Room DC Washington DC
Great selection of local beers and a full bar, you can enjoy an afternoon or evening with friends playing silly board games from your childhood, or turn those games into drinking games.

Found out it was a group of kickball players who were coming from an underground bar.

It is almost always busy, but if you don't mind sitting at the bar it's generally quicker than the queue for tables.
