Breathtaking views and our wranglers: Mane, Sierra, and Katie were really great and informative.
Loved hearing the history, seeing the canyon from the horseback view (after hiking it for several days), and loved that they carved out time to be sure we each had photos.

Cudos to Vickie Bryant and a great audio visual presentation coupled with artifacts and a walk to visit sites on the grounds.
The old casino site is steeped in mystery and intrigue covering the Prohibition era with links to many regional and national famous and infamous people from Mae West to Bonnie and Clyde to Jack Ruby.
The grounds of the shop are beautiful, and in the peak of the summer, the walkways were lined with flowers and scenic spots to sit, and we had a great view of the peach trees out back.
The staff is friendly and the views are gorgeous!
It is a so well preserved landmark of the historical route 66. Diane and Patsy were a "hoot".

We stopped and explored at each of the recommended sights along the way: Sam Nail, Blue Creek Ranch, Lower Burro Mesa, Sotol Overlook, Tuff Canyon, Mule Ears Overlook, Santa Elena Canyon.
This drive takes awhile from start to finish and there are lots of places to stop off and view the sites and even take a hike, so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to explore it.
