We found great results, but some are outside New Jersey. Showing results in neighbouring cities.
Limit search to New Jersey.
On site store has some great one of a kind hand made items.
I discovered this on a web site and signed us up for a private tour.
It is compact enough to see many major sites including Nassau Hall, Whig & Clio buildings, Maclean House, Prospect House, the Chapel, the book store, art museum, Woodrow Wilson school, many dormitories, etc.

This national landmark has been to Hell and back, literally, but still remains the gem of this part of New Jersey.
FirstEnergy Park Lakewood
The new minor league style stadium is very comfortable and the views from anywhere are unobstructed.
The RV Show is very interesting always a good selection to view with lots of information.
In addition to the tour, you also get great views of the Philadelphia skyline as well as the Ben Franklin Bridge.
What a great place to see maritime history and to take in a terrific view of the city of Philadelphia.

Pier A Park Hoboken
This wonderful park -- transformed from an old, disused pier -- juts out into the Hudson River, right across from the West Village in Manhattan and affords a spectacular view of the Skyline.
Across the river from the West Village, you look to the right for spectacular views of downtown and to the left for spectacular views of the Empire State building, mid town and the Upper West side.

I recommend a ride around town in a horse drawn carriage- you get to see the sights in a different way and learn some history along the way!
The carriage was very nice and the driver was outstanding with her knowledge and presentation of the sites in cape May.
He had a great knowledge of the history of the site as well as a great way of making the geology behind it all understandable.
The mine tour is exceptional, where you'll learn about and see the methods of mining for the NJ Zinc Company, and view the fluorescent minerals.
The museum, the walk to the top of the dunes overlooking the water, a climb (or roll as it's handicap accessible) onto the bird lookout where you can view eagles, falcons, hawks, osprey, swans, ducks of every desc...

Of course, Trenton has many landmarks, historic buildings and museums but having only enough time to properly visit one attraction I opted for the Old Barracks Museum.
The downtown Jersey City waterfront offers some of the best views of lower Manhattan with a great boardwalk path just steps from food and transportation around JC and Hoboken, as well as back to Manhattan.
