We learned a little history, enjoyed great beer, and ended the night with delicious food.
All I can say is it is a must for anyone who likes beer and is of age to drink!
The only thing missing was the food trucks I thought/hoping would be at at least one of the breweries.

Simply outstanding, excellent tour of microbreweries, food trucks that serve excellent food in the microbreweries, and just plain fun.

Surly Brewing Company Minneapolis
You can eat and/or drink at any of these options and both food and drink are outstanding.
Excellent beer, food is great (hog frites are amazing).
Schell's New Ulm
The brewery tour is fascinating with a lot of local history and for the $5 tour fee you get to drink about $10 worth of beer at the end of the tour.
If you want to come for a party make time during bock fest or October fest for music good food and a great crowd and the beer of course!
Castle Danger Brewery Two Harbors
We got to go on a brewery tour and for $3 donation to a local food shelf, got a great tour and a free beer, so kudos to them for doing a great service and we will certainly return.
We live in Two Harbors and only drink Castle Danger brews when at home.
Carlos Creek Winery Alexandria
The food was cooked to perfection and the presentation was beautiful!
Recommend the fruity wines although they are all too easy to drink.
Great beer selection, plenty of seating options (patio, fireplace, bar, tables, etc...), food options from OMC and local deli, and three types of water on self-serve tap!
So every city I visit I try to find what do I love about the places I eat and drink.
Food selections were varied and delicious.

Inbound Brewco Minneapolis
The beer selection is much larger than most breweries I've been to, and there's always a great food truck outside.
The beer was great, it had an awesome open atmosphere, and the food truck outside was awesome.
