If you're looking for something truly unique to do in Chicago, check out a Spice of Life Tour! We've now done both their Chinatown Food and Cultural Tour and the Devon Avenue Food and Cultural tour.
Excellent, engaging food tour!
A cooking class that is interactive, inexpensive and interesting taught by a Diva who makes food delightfully delicious.
We got to hear about her fun experience on the food network paired with her great sense of humor and amazing red hair ️ Definitely one of the highlights of our day!
My husband and I enjoyed learning the backstory to some local neighborhoods and culinary staples while sampling delicious food and drink.
Wonderful tour, great food, lot's of information, and Brian was a great guide Like the Spice House tour the best but all was informative and interesting.

Everyone there is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about whiskey, My husband is the whiskey drinker and for the first time I found a whiskey drink I enjoyed - the Whiskey Slush - it is worth the drive!
The food truck was awesome and the band was great (as usual)!
The Barrel Run Chicago
We had pick up and drop off at our place of employment, we were allowed to bring on our own food and drink, and the bus was very comfortable and enjoyable.
We went to 3 different distilleries and paired food with the last stop.

I went with my boyfriend and his parents, we had so much fun wandering through these neighborhoods trying all different kinds of food and drink.
Phyllis has done an excellent job of selecting varied, balanced, delicious fare and presenting just the right amount of non-food stories about the neighborhood.

Would recommend this tour in a heartbeat to anyone looking to learn and drink beer (not two things that normally go together, but Lee makes it enjoyable!)
We had a blast - met new friends and learned some Chicago history while sampling many different beers with some food thrown in along the way.

Great food, great history
It was a nice walk in the area learning history and enjoying the local food options.

We even had a chance to grab a quick lunch at the Harold's Chicken and hot dog food trucks located at Millennium Park.
They allowed food and drink (just not red wine, which is fair!).
