Walking across trail you see birds, trees , river running through rocks and trees, and as you finish trail find an spectacular nature creation: Anna Ruby Falls.
Absolute beautiful campus, respectful students, and very worthy "day-out," adventure for couples, trail and runners, nature lovers and parents trying to wear out kids.
It is on a little hill, but if you have trouble walking there is a little parking lot on top of the hill right next to the church, otherwise you can park at the bottom of the hill and take the little pathway up!

This is a beautiful park with paved walking trails (and you can bike on them, too), lots of green space for putting out a blanket and picnic, and playground for children.
The visitor center is excellent with knowledgeable park rangers, interesting and interactive exhibits and a wonderfully creative and informative movie.
The also have a very knowledgeable and helpful staff, a museum of artifacts, a huge map, a museum of firearms and a 7 mile self-guided tour through the park.
Driftwood Beach Jekyll Island
This is a must see stop in Jekyll Island.... great at either sunrise or sunset.... park at either Driftwood Bistro or on side of road....Clam Creek is also a great stop with some Driftwood as well.
It is fabulous to walk along and admire all of the spectacular works of Mother Nature!
Minnehaha Falls Lakemont
You can climb the fall and enjoy nature.
Take Low Gap road to Bear Gap road for about a mile and a half, park on the left, set of steps to your right.
Saw some huge turtles, but the Gators were the main event and WOW!! they were swimming along side us, in front of us, so exciting! 2 hours rental of Jon Boat including the park fee totalled 46. and well worth it.
We had a great time taking in the sights of the nature boardwalks the visitor center and the Chesser homestead which really takes you back to a more simpler time.
