Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Anthony GWellington, New Zealand1,473 contributionsThis tasting room and vineyard is synonymous with Waiheke. It’s takes a little while if you are doing but with the wee adventure to get there. Great selection of wines, good food, there was a dj playing at the time and we were able to sit back and appreciate the views and atmosphere over some great wines. Worth checking out and defo worth booking.Written 22 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- GeneralShamuNew York City, NY1,274 contributionsLikely the main beach for all day visitors to come to so expect crowding, especially if it's a Friday - Sunday in summer months. Great views, surprisingly clean and an easy walk from the main part of town if you don't have a vehicle.Written 4 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rachel NUSA271 contributionsWe had a lovely lunch at Stony Ridge with truly delicious food. I especially loved the cockles. The service was pretty slow, however, and there were lots of screaming children (not the restaurant's fault), but other than that we have a great time.Written 5 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ben G30 contributionsDon’t be fooled by its diminutive stature in comparison to its neighbours; this is a totally different vineyard and a wholly different experience. Lance comes across as hugely experience and passionate about his craft, and you will get a different outlook on winemaking here, whilst sampling some brilliant wines too. Fully recommend a walk-in.Written 29 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Gadabouts95Grantham, UK576 contributionsIt was a bit of a climb out of Onetangi to the park but worth it. Beautiful woodland walks of different lengths. Heard plenty of birdsong but did not see many! Some very good views from the top ridge. Make sure you use insect repellent!! You can always reward yourself with a drink from one of the lovely cafes on Onetangi beachfront afterwards.Written 14 April 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I came across their stall at the Auckland Food Festival last year and man are they delicious!! Once you try them you will never go back to store brought.
They have such a variety that go so well with so many foods.
My fav's so far are Dolceto Strawberry Balsamic Condiment , Chilli Balsamic and Citrus White (lemon).
I like to use their condiments on most of my cooking, be it over a salad or vegie's it gives everything such a flavour boost!!
When ordering online they arrive super fast and well packaged.

And soon we were enjoying a good selection of local wines, and relaxing in their tiny back balcony. Would definitely go back if we ever found our way again to beautiful Waiheke.Written 19 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
