- Leigh H7 contributionsLiz made sure we had a great experience on our ride on Waiheke. She provided an introduction to the horses as well as thorough instruction for both of us. She took the time to make sure we were comfortable before heading out on the ride. We visited beautiful scenic views and the nearby beach. Throughout the ride she took great pictures and videos which will serve as memories of this experience for a long time. She was such a good teacher and really patient with us it’s one thing I would reccomend to any one visiting waiheke !! - ravensdale29Auckland Central, New Zealand14 contributionsMy 3 teenagers loved the horse trek across the farm. The horses were well cared for and great for beginners. However, their trip was only 45 mins long instead of 60 mins. When I queried this at the end, the owner said it was a loop track and they "must have ridden a bit fast" but we felt that perhaps the instructor could have taken them on an extra track, or somehow given them the additional time we paid for. If a ride is only one hour long, you want to make sure you get the full hour.
