Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We did a day trip consisting of a water taxi from Picton to the start of the Queen Charlotte Track, a hike as far as the Furneaux Lodge, and water taxi back. Our guide, Jamie, was an excellent companion and very informative about the history, flora and fauna of the region. The walk is lovely and would be nice in any weather, but we were lucky enough to have a rainbow following us around. The scenery is just splendid and the hike is invigorating and just enough for a day.

This is the second time in 20 years that I have selected Wilderness Guides to coordinate my 4 day hike of the Queen Charlotte Track. Both times everything went flawlessly, from pickup at our hotel, in-person briefing of the track and what to expect along the way, boat transportation to the beginning of the track, selection of lodges and rooms, to final drop-off again at our hotel. I felt comfortable that if we had any snags along the way, we would receive a fast and courteous resolution.

Their website provided helpful information, along with their maps.

I would definitely choose to work with them again.

We took the full day birding tour to Blumine and Motuara islands yesterday with four other Alaskan friends. It was a wonderful experience and one of the best guided nature tours we have had in NZ. The captain, Paul, was extremely knowledgeable and very adept in handling and positioning the boat in difficult conditions. Equally, or more, impressive was the young and very enthusiastic naturalist, sommelier, barista and boat hand, Will, who shared his passion and knowledge with all the guests. His knowledge was especially impressive given he has only been in NZ for three months. He is a genuine asset to E-Ko Tour’s operation and should be rewarded for his exemplary performance.

I recently did a cruise & we docked in Picton. I had no plans to do anything until I came across Seamonkees JetSki hire.
I hired a JetSki (GTI2) for an hour. Well what a great decision that was. I had so much fun I booked another hour.
The scenery was absolutely amazing. My only regrets was that I didn’t get to see any dolphins & wished I had booked another hour.
This experience was the highlight of my holiday.
The owners were amazing & super friendly.
Seriously do yourself a favour hire a JetSki when in Picton you will not regret it.

Stuart (the skipper) was fantastic. Flexible and knowledgeable about the area he tailored the day to suit our group. The 'snack' between dives kept on coming and were very much appreciated by the divers
