Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a must-see when you are in Picton. The museum has interesting stories and artifacts but the fact that you can actually walk on the ship was pretty amazing.

Wonderful assistance from the Picton Isite people to organise my trip to the Queen Charlotte track and Tasman park areas with special mention to Sophie who patiently, efficiently and kindly help me to put together my wishes into a fully packed 5 days stay. Very grateful! 😃👍👍 patrick

This museum has much of interest including a comprehensive display of the whaling history in the area. We were in picton for captain cook's 250th centenary celebrations but the museum failed to mention this auspicious occasion or have a special display for it. There was no children's area but my granddaughter enjoyed the pioneer life area without getting bored.

Would a lovely shop! lots of interesting jewellery and a very nice helpful assistant. Came to walk the queen charlotte and went home with new earings ..... As the name says, it is a gem of a place and not like all your other touristy , repetitive shops. good work.

Really enjoyable small group tour visiting 4 vineyards for tastings in the vicinity of Blenheim. Charming and humorous driver/guide David helped make the trip very lively. The knowledge and expertise from the Vineyard hosts was excellent, particularly St Clair. Would definitely recommend.
