  • The ranking of tours, activities, and experiences available on Tripadvisor is determined by several factors including the revenue generated by Tripadvisor from these bookings, the frequency of user clicks, and the volume and quality of customer reviews. Occasionally, newly listed offerings may be prioritized and appear higher in the list. The specific placement of these new listings may vary.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Krista made our day. No only did she suggest the location but she also planned the tour considering our needs of all kinds such as food breaks, restroom breaks, alternative routes taking into account weather conditions, and our time frame. Definitely worth a strong recommendation!!
Krista‘s personality is also worth mentioning: having her as a guide feels like walking with a friend. Thanks so much for this fantastic day.

We really enjoyed this tour! We were without a car on our recent trip to the Baltics, so we were looking for a way to see parts of the country without a car. We also love hiking and didnt want to miss out on seeing this part of Latvia. This tour was the perfect answer for us.

It was December 26, which was a holiday. It ended up being only the two of us and Valdis, and we had a great day hiking up and down the hills. Valdis was a great tour guide.

There are stairs throughout the National park, sometimes with railings, sometimes without. My partner wore hiking boots and I wore winter boots -- both were fine.

We loved seeing the forest in the winter, especially as the sun was setting. The hike was a great trip and we would highly recommend it.

The guide, Valdis, was excellent. He did the Kuldiga tour even more interesting. Kuldiga is a great and unique city with full of charm. So I will highly recommend to book this tour, you will always remember it, you will see charming things and you will learn a lot with Valdis, who knows a lot of valuable and interesting information.

We highly recommend choosing green adventures outside Riga.
We have seen hidden places we would not have if we were on our own. Our guide shared with us beautiful hikes and interesting facts about living in Latvia, and we even tasted local food and drinks. He surprised us with an alternative gluten-free bread for one of our friends. He was very professional in his guidance, always making sure we were having fun.

I enjoyed I enjoyed my tour of Cesis: Medieval Heritage and Natural Treasures! I loved being able to do a little of many things. Exploring the old city, touring a medieval castle, and a walk through a national park. The scenery was amazing and my guide was knowledgeable and helpful! As a single female, I felt safe the entire time and and would recommend to others!

An excellent hike through the park with Rolands. There was excellent communication with expectations beforehand and pick up was punctual. The hike was great , passing through hills, meadows and forests, with many wonderful views.

Visit to Sigulda town for lunch was excellent, and Rolands helped with recommendations for Latvian specialties. The visit to the open air museum and castle in Turaida was also very interesting.

Rolands was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about the nature and management of the park, as well as Latvian culture, language and a large number of other subjects, and was a pleasure to speak with.

I had a very nice tour to the baltic sea today with Valdis. He's a very well informed guide and tells a lot about nature, latvian history etc.
The hiking tour goes mainly through lovely dunes in the area of Lilaste and brings you to the baltic coast. It's a great opportunity to get away from the city hustle for a few ours and to see a different part of Latvia.
I would totally recommend the hiking tour!

Today I had a full day tour with Rolands, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Rolands’ extensive knowledge of the area, its plants, animals, and history was truely impressive. His passion for conservation and nature made the tour not only informative but incredibly enjoyable.

I'm seriously considering returning to Latvia just to take another one of his tours, especially to explore the west coast. If you're planning a trip to Latvia, I highly recommend booking a tour with Roland!!
