Nida Dunes Nida
You can go for a walk to explore the dunes or rent a boat to sail from the other side of dunes and enjoy the view.
Lovely walk (around 1km) up to the end of the dunes overlooking the sea, offering stunning views once there.
Its a bit away from the normal sights in the old town but definitely worth the trip!
Interesting area both from touristic and cultural points of view, generally speaking more Western European than Russian in terms of habits, history, traditions.

Very impressive historical site in the woods.

Really impressed with the architecture Stunning building in its own right aside from the religious aspect so many different angles to view it from to appreciate the detail and work involved of erecting this building.
Great church with lots of great artwork and beautiful views!

Vingis Park Vilnius
This park allows to feel in deep countryside near to the centre of Vilnius with views of the Neris river, towering pine trees, well behaved attractive locals walking their dogs & babies.
Hogging in the morning is best here, quiet, clean, can be flat and hilly, as per route chosen, has beginings and ends in differents sites.
Musical Fountain Druskininkai
The most spectacular view in the evening is when it gets dark, because it plays and "dances" and shines!
Prefect view.
Nida Beach Nida
Perfect for a walk, with the view over the sea and the dunes.Chilling at its best.
Lovely beach with good facilities, clean sand, and nice views
Ninth Fort Kaunas
There is the main outdoor exhibit as well including the prison site and the Ninth Fort monument itself which is pretty outstanding given it's size and sculpturing.
Finally you walk up to the memorial, which is very moving, and also has impressive views over the surrounding area.
This place is perfect for nature and architecture lovers, families, couple dates and much much more :) great views (many lakes around the castle) and the castle itself is on an island.
The Castle is on a lake island across, and the BEST thing about it is the view, and the BEST view is from a square by the lake shore where the restaurants are.

All the detail works, sculpture and the atmosphere are second to none, in my view.
This church was built on the site of a former wooden one.

The interior is one of, if not, the best churches in Vilnius and the Bell Tower is easily the best view of Vilnius you can get.
There are four or five windows - with the main sites highlighted so you can get your bearings and then you can walk up the final bit of the wooden staircase and be in the open air for the views - so you can take p...

A gate at the entrance to Vilnius old town, Nic little chapel inside and worth a visit whist seeing the other sights in Vilnius.
Gates od Dawn is one of the most important landmarks of Vilnius.

Definitely make sure you stroll by this charming sculpture of the good doctor, one of the quirky sites that make Vilnius' old town interesting.
It was a rainy day in Vilnius, but worth the trip to see the sights including this lovely statue, kind of makes you want to make up your own story about it's meaning, easy to find and worth finding.
If you are a Christian then you will of course also appreciate the religious elements of the site, which is a place of pilgrimage and was blessed by the Pope.
It is well recommended and worthwhile if you are in the vicinity to stop at this unique site.

Built originally on a pagan site, the hour tour through the crypt with a guide, who was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, taught me a lot about Lithuanian history as well as the history of the cathedral itself.
The cathedral and nearby bell tower are imposing structures, the bell tower gives a fabulous view of the city but the cathedral buildings themselves are rather plain - at least inside.

You need a good head for heights and a keen eye to climb the wooden open plan stairwells inside the tower but a trip to the top gives a great view of the city and an interesting view of the construction.
A small donation to the University, down a small corridor, behold the experiment of Foucault and up the elevator (or stairs) to a stunning 360 degrees view of Vilnius!
The main things you have to see are City Hall, Vytautas Magnus Church, Kaunas Cathedral and beautiful view where largest rivers of Lithuania Nemunas and Neris join each other.
Very nice town, with an excellent tourist office that found us a private walking tour on very short notice, and many interesting sights and places.

Everything about this cemetery should encourage a visitor to view the beautiful hillside site, the elaborate headstones with individual sculptures.
The site itself is also very enjoyable to visit and pause for a moment, listen to the trees and the wind.
Some of the courtyards weren’t anything special but the frescos were amazing and the view from the bell tower is the best in Vilnius.
You can get outside at the top and The views over the city are absolutely fantastic.

We enjoyed meandering down here, soaking up the sunshine and the view of St. Michael the Archangel's Church as we drew closer.
Great range of sights, shops and places to eat & drink
... that offers guided tours, allowing to visit inner court of the cloister, crypts, balcony and even walk over the roof of the main nave and glance through the upper windows to the great view of Vilnius old town.
You can book private tours and get to the attic from where you will see amazing views on old Vilnius roofs and crosses.

Meridianas Klaipeda
Wonderfull place, the best in town:) specially in the summer.. Taking a walk throigh old town, enjoying this view, on old, but already restaurated ship.. Inside is btw nice restaurant, worth to visit
One of the landmarks of Klaipeda, a picturesque ship, which you will definitely see when in Klaipeda's oldtown.
Uzupis Mermaid Vilnius
Sometimes there's a swing under the bridge, so you can wade out and take a romantic swing with a view towards the mermaid.

Stebuklas Vilnius
Its a nice square containing the main site.
It was either the beginning or the end, depending on your point of view, of the 1989 human chain that spread across all three Baltic countries to protest Soviet occupation.

We left the monastery at 16:45 and made our way to the lake beach to the south to watch the wind surfer, wildlife and view; all very relaxing.
Perhaps one of best sites to visit in Lithuania!
