Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I visited the Lobkowicz Palace with my girlfriend last year through the Prague card and we were astonished at the beauty of this site. The palace was built in the mid-16th century at the behest of the Lobkowicz noble family. Over the centuries the family accumulated an impressive collection of decorative arts objects, military and hunting equipment, musical artefacts, and classical paintings. The highlights of the collection are the Hay Harvester by the Flemish painter Pieter Brueghel the Elder and two beautiful views of London by the renowned Italian artist Canaletto. The collection includes numerous portraits of members of the European aristocracy from the Lobkowicz family, as well as their relations, but we didn't spend a lot of time looking at them as we didn't find them that interesting. The interior of the palace is absolutely spectacular and if you're a fan of classical music, it may be worth booking a combined museum and concert ticket for one of the classical concerts that take place in the Baroque concert hall in the early afternoon on a daily basis.

The palace is situated in the Prague Castle complex but it's very easy to miss, which would be a shame as it's definitely worth a visit. Make sure you listen to the excellent audio guide and take the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful view of Prague from the palace's terrace.

Quite an interesting museum with three floors of exhibits, quite educational and eye-opening with a tiny cinema at the back showing historical films. Probably something you'd expect more out of Blackpool that Prague, but a decent time filler nevertheless.

Very interesting and something you will not find mentioned in the usual tour books. We heard about it but not until the final few hours in Prague did we end up going. So glad we did not miss it. A very good hour spent. Just not the time of the next English tour if that's what you need.

We visited the Cyril and Methodial Cathedral and the museum crypt only yesterday 5th December and both were amazing. We visited the Cathedral upstairs first if all. To think of the siege involving 800 SS soldiers inside and outside this beautiful building is dreadful. The peace in there was amazing as we sat in there for 30mins.
The Crypt downstairs was so well exhibited. You enter the museum part first which is a fantastic illustration of what happened and then you push a large dark metal door to go straight into the crypt. To see the actual excavation the paratroopers made in the crypt wall as means to escape was amazing.
I thoroughly recommend a visit to this location and thank you for the curators at the crypt for their interest in sharing their knowledge on the event. They were so approachable.

Museum has a large hall with all kinds of transport, plus other rooms with clocks, chemicals, printing, cameras, astrononmy and other branches of science. This museum is a bit more down-to-earth than other technology museums, in that it shows how a lot of everyday things work, and why they were successful or unsuccessful, rather than trying to show all the most advanced technology. I spent 6 hours in the museum and still did not see everything. Nearly everything is described in both Czech and English. However, there is almost nothing you can touch, or try out.

The attractions were funny, quirky and interesting. Would definitely recommend. Korny & Kacka were on the desk when we arrived, they were very welcoming & funny. Great time! 🍾

This (the Veletrzni Palac) is easily the most under-rated and from the (many) times I've been there over the last 20 years, the most under-visited major art museum in Europe, probably because of its location outside Prague Old Town. The collection, and semi-permant display, following a re-hang, is modern and predominantly (as you would expect) Czech. This three-floor exhibition has been re-arranged superbly and, unless you have been before, you should expect art from the last 150 years that you have not seen previously. To really see what is in this building you need around six hours - I did it in three wet afternoons at roughly two hours per floor. Or you could do a whole day including coffees, lunch and a well-deserved pre-dinner drink in the modern and super popular cafe. Go! A tram stops close by or the Vltava metro stop is only a few minutes walk. A tip on the cost, you can buy a combined year long friends ticket which gives unlimited access and is excellent value, particularly if you want to do this site and others over a few days. Remember too, the mediaeval branch in Josefov, the fine arts one near the Castle, the temporary exhibitionat the Kinsky on Old Town Square and so on, all of which are worth a look.

We happened to be going past and decided to go in and …wow! The most amazing steel figures, cars and characters. Everything from Disney to 8’ high Avengers and Aliens. Really enjoyable to walk through and touch them.

Following a long walk through the sidesteps and up a steep hill we found this restaurant and brewery. It's very popular,so we had to wait. Seats outside we ordered two different beers, one dark, one light and a very tasty goulash soup. This was accompanied by white and brown bread. Followed by a delicious apple strudel.

Staff friendly and good choice of beers and things to eat. From here we walked through several sqares past beautiful view points to Charles Brige.. A long downhill walk with stunning scenery

A very informative and fun museum, whether you know a lot about the history of film or want to learn more. So many interactive exhibits, and the staff member who led us through was so kind and knowledgeable!! She answered any questions we had and explained everything really well. I think this museum has something for everyone, whether you’re a visual, auditory, or kinaesthetic learner. 10/10

Nicely presented museum with lots of reading to be done. Definitely gives you a good idea of who Kafka was and contains many of its original scripts.

We opted for the self-guided audio tour and it wasn’t done well. It’s quite confusing and difficult to follow.
The Spanish Synagogue by far the more interesting and easy to follow, without the guide. Much more interactive and presented personal stories of Czech citizens and/or Holocaust survivors. You won’t want to miss the cemetery — it’s so humbling.
