Knebworth House
#1 of 1 Sights & Landmarks in Knebworth
We were graced with blue skies which meant we had great views all day of the house & skyline.
A word of thanks to the volunteers in St Marys Church which is on site and was open on my second visit.

Panshanger Park, Hertford 7.2 km away

The park is such a nice place to visits, great views of three fishing lakes, the big oak is about 2.5 away from the car park and well worth a walk.
There is a small free car park off of Thieves Lane and this is currently the only car park at the site.
Teamworks Karting and Laser Tag Letchworth Letchworth 13.0 km away
#1 of 3 Sights & Landmarks in Letchworth
From a non-racing participants point of view, it is much nicer than other non-electric karting tracks where the noise and smell is quite unpleasant.

Hatfield House Hatfield 11.9 km away
#1 of 2 Sights & Landmarks in Hatfield
The formal gardens were starting to look beautiful as well and the views of the house are stunning from all vistas plus I love the modern fountain at the front which amazingly fits well with the Tudor house.
The house is steeped in history and the tour of the beautiful house included several rooms, dining room, long hall, armoury room, chapel, library, a view of the Chinese bedroom suite, kitchens and more.

Hatfield Park Farm Hatfield 12.0 km away

So the farm provides great value and a superb experience in contrast to the on-site cafe which is terrible value and shambolic.
Also plus thing is you have free parking facilities on site.
Redbournbury Watermill and Bakery St Albans 16.3 km away

The staff were lovely and friendly, the atmosphere was warm and calming, with a lovely view over the farm (personally I enjoyed looking out to the cattle shed seeing the cows grazing).
St Albans Cathedral St Albans 16.9 km away
#1 of 13 Sights & Landmarks in St Albans
The reconstructed shrine of St Alban provides a prayer space for those who want to visit the site as a pilgrimage, and the new statues of the martyrs are a good reminder that it is a living church.
... is a great way to learn about this beautifully peaceful place of worship and there is even a tour to the top of the tower with over 220 narrow steps, but worth the climb for the spectacular Hertfordshire views!

St Albans Clock Tower St Albans 16.8 km away
#3 of 13 Sights & Landmarks in St Albans
Climb thses steps to the top of the tower and you'll be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding area and the countryside.
The Clock Tower was built as a monument to civic pride between 1403 and 1412 A.D. Sitting at the bottom of the market place and French Row, when the tower is open, offers a really good view of the town.
