Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Gene R JSilver Spring, MD10,502 contributionsWe stopped here on our 300 km drive from North Lakes to Hervey Bay.
After visiting the twin lighthouses at Caloundra, we drove 15 km north to the free parking lot at Point Cartwright, lucky to snag a spot. We took a selfie at the long view of Wurtulla Beach before joining several dog walkers for 300m to the huge blue water tank covered with sea life murals, and just behind, the tall lighthouse built in 1979. At this commanding spot, we looked over the bay toward Sunshine Coast, spotting several surfers and small sailboats while another couple was watching a frolicing whale just offshore noting we are near the end of the humpback season. What a beautiful spot of Australian nature.Written 6 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JamestravelsSALiverpool, UK4 contributionsYesterday we dived the HMAS Brisbane Ship Wreck with Scuba World Mooloolaba. The whole experience was really enjoyable from the get go. The Staff were great. A special shout out to Tim our dive guide who looked after us all morning. He was super knowledgeable and friendly. Jake the Captain was also top class and got us to the Wreck and back in no time.
Would highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back for other dives in the area.

I’m not a beer drinker but everywhere we went I got to enjoy lots of drinks cider, gin, ginger beer and other beers that were different and unique. We spent a good amount of time at each pub and everything was relaxing and enjoyable.Written 17 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
