There were only 5 people on the tour which made it easy to chat and keep to the allocated time at the stops. Our driver Peter was a local and was informative and friendly with some interesting stories. The cheese factory gave us a great selection of cheeses -enjoyed sitting outside. Lunch at the secret lake restaurant was in a lovely setting on a patio beside a lake. The food was tasty and the serves were large. The two small towns that we had free time in were worth seeing. The chocolate shop had lovely samples to take home. The scenery and viewpoints along the way were excellent and would have been hard to travel to without a car. - Christine P1 contributionGreat day out. Jeff our driver and guide picked us up from our hotel in his lovely clean and shiny coach. We then picked up other passengers and made our way to the Eumundi Markets. Jeff gave us lots of interesting information on the drive concerning places we passed and local history of the area. We dropped off the passengers for the market and continued on our way to the Ginger Factory. Jeff helped us purchase tickets for the tasting and tour. It was so interesting and fun later at the tasting test area. We then explored the wonderful soundings of the factory and then visited the nut and chocolate factory. Jeff was waiting for us and we travelled back to Eumundi markets where we spent an hour before picking up the other passengers for the trip back to Mooloolaba. The whole day was delightful with so much information and things to see and do. A great day. - Anna C1 contributionRecently enjoyed the Sunshine Coast Food Trail with Lunch in, and it was a fantastic experience. Our guide, Josh, was incredible—knowledgeable and friendly, he added a special touch to the day.
The highlight was a mouthwatering lunch in Maleny, featuring locally sourced ingredients in beautifully presented dishes. Josh's insights and engaging commentary throughout the tour made it even more enjoyable.
In short, a delightful day with great food, friendly company, and stunning scenery. It was a very relaxing and lovely afternoon seeing the Everglades and spotting some wildlife.
