Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- RCSouth Morang, Australia140 contributions20mins uphill to get to the top but well worth the views
Great to stand in the centre of NZ and sit on the chairs and get breath back and take it all inWritten 20 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Not so The Suter Art Gallery. Well presented and laid out, descriptive displays and plenty to see.
What a treat - well done Suter Art Gallery.Written 14 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's run by volunteers and the lady who guided us was friendly and knowledgeable. You can choose to have a guided tour by a volunteer, or a self guided tour using the audio available in a few of the rooms - little stereos that you press play on to hear the audio. It's a lovely piece of NZ history and well worth the visit.Written 28 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - alec wAuckland, New Zealand80 contributionsIsel House and Grounds is a must visit. The Gardens are nice, aged trees and lots of plants, plus a creeek. The Homestead is interesting. The Cafe open in the summer period is also good, they just need to clearly state opening hours and seasonal operating , the last couple of years, that has been an issueWritten 2 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - OldjackGreater Melbourne, Australia29,074 contributionsThe statue is interesting but not special but it is in a nice part of town down near the waterfront and the river and worth a look.Written 15 February 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
