Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- evets1232016Sydney, Australia438 contributionsWe visited Heaphy as part of day tour of Nelson wineries. Heaphy was our lunch stop, so we combined our lunch there with tasting of their wines. The food is primarily pizzas, but not just any old pizza, it's authentic Italian pizza, and it was great. Combine that with sipping on excellent wines in a lovely garden setting, and you have the perfect lunch.Written 25 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - bruce676Christchurch, New Zealand11 contributionsI've been here 4 times and will be back again soon. This is a unique experience. The only place I know where I have to negotiate for more wine than Beth wants to sell to me! Love the place, and love the whole premise of why this place exists. I even enjoy the fact that sometimes I arrive and there is no one there. it is what it is, enjoy.Written 4 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - foodiesandwineNelson, Nelson, New Zealand93 contributionsWe popped in on a Friday as it’s just up the road from us, what a stunning little boutique vineyard, Jenny the owner looked after us with providing informative info on her wines, Quinn their famous terrier entertained us. We walked away with some amazing wines to add to our collection! We will be backWritten 2 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HobsonzChoiceMelbourne, Australia75 contributionsWe were finishing up our first day's ride on the Great Taste Trail when we came across Falcon Ridge. The winery wasn't listed on our incredibly detailed places of interested list we had been provided, but decided to give it a shot and we're very glad we did.
It's a quiet and casual cellar door with friendly owners. The wine was great and they are definitely contributing something unique to the local wine scene.
A small donation is requested for tastings, but that's quite common in the area.Written 1 March 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
