- 1811027ScottAuckland, New Zealand168 contributionsNatural beauty at its finest, on a clear day with blue sky and calm ocean very worth the walk along the beach. Interesting boulders which make for wonderful photosWritten 30 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- brendafrostAuckland, New Zealand14 contributionsA good insight to the local history of the town, great use of some of the original buildings show casing the Oamaru stone construction the town is known for. Good variety of outlets and even had a local jazz band playing in the morning.Written 26 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 1811027ScottAuckland, New Zealand168 contributionsThe gardens were very pleasant to stroll around especially with the turning of the leaves in Autumnal colours. Good for all agesWritten 30 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- CamdaWellington, New Zealand629 contributionsLovely that these penguins have been protected and encouraged to nest in man made boxes on the shoreline. You have to go late at night and a lot of waiting and patience is required. We were there at 8.30 but had to wait over an hour from memory to see the penguins come ashore. The commentary was too hard to hear which was disappointing as we waited. Maybe the guides could ask if everyone can hear them ok? Was a oncer but a little pricey.Written 7 March 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
