- 1811027ScottAuckland, New Zealand168 contributionsI wasnt that interested initially but visited with keen friends. It was worth a visit and had some interesting features, bit of fun in OamaruWritten 30 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- brendafrostAuckland, New Zealand14 contributionsAn interesting place to visit to go back in time to when area first settled. Displays very good and appear to be relevant to the area and depict how the town was established and the history of the area. Good for children.Written 26 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- PETER RChristchurch, New Zealand20 contributionsWhat an experience.
The Artist Donna was as delightful and passionate as her paintings and Artistic creations.
I immersed myself in the glorious surroundings of her passion.
An hour was not long enough.
Thank you Donna.
You are an INSPIRATIONWritten 31 January 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Grant NHastings, New Zealand1,266 contributionsStopped in to have a look - expected something like a museum but it was really a house that could well have been lived in that day. Nice and natural with a number of items that we remembered from our own childhood. Loved the toilet with the torn up newspapers for use - well remember that. Overall very interesting and not a stuffy museum exhibition. The guide had a fund of stories and was worth listening to. - cpcogWellington, New Zealand1,329 contributionsI love seeing building in this style. You will see quite a lot in Thames Street and most of them are in different details.Written 6 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Grant NHastings, New Zealand1,266 contributionsStopped in while wandering around the precinct - nice clean and spacious areas - bit of a climb to the upper floor - but worth a look. Some items were interesting to me - a lot weren't but there was plenty to meet most tastes. - BrainyblocksDunedin, New Zealand40 contributionsWe searched activities to do in Oamaru and found this, which was perfect for my 16 year old time travel fanatic son's birthday outing! I was expecting to be bored but there really was something for every one here - not so much about time travel but more about movie memorabilia through the ages! We all thoroughly enjoyed it. The admission charge was high and I don't think the price board should have admitted this with associated justifications, but for special occasions was a perfect treat.Written 14 April 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Make a purchase and you will not be disapointedas you will have a piece of Oamaru that you will treasure for a lifetime. Prices are not too bad when considering the time and effort tht goes into every piece and he has a range of prices and sculpture sizes availableWritten 14 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
