Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Easy to find and good visibility. Follow the thin white line to the submerged car.
Marine life is not too abundant but nice mussels and shrimp.

Beautiful church, very well kept and in a nice parc. It is on a hill and in the middle of the town, so easy to find.

Our walk lead us from the nearby housing area towards the small marina- unused due to it being mid-winter. The day after heavy rain, the sun was shining as we walked from here to the point (Torndalsvej on the map). There is a toilet at this point but it is locked during winter months.
Views of Mariager Fjord from the Marina and during the walk are worth the effort, regardless of the tracks being a little challenging and muddy- wear good walking/waterproof boots in wetter months, though these would be ok in summer.
There is a little climbing up over hiking ladders which are in place over the fences (4 steps max) with handholds. The terrain is a little hilly but not exhaustingly so. I live and only walk on flat, well marked trails but these were doable, if sweaty and a little challenging. However, the views make it all worthwhile. There are no resting seats along the track except perhaps one. Remember your camera as this area is picturesque. I saw people of all ages doing this walk.

Due to darkness falling, we took the route back to Hobro, via gravel/dirt roads past Hobro Golf Course, passing through summer houses and beautiful rolling hills. This area is worth a half-day or full day trip. The trails do continue further along the fjord. This walk amounted to approx.9km in all.
In summer, I imagine the marina to be more active and a nice place to hang out before or after your walk. Worth visiting if you are in the area.

This a beautifully maintained old stone church surrounded by a well maintained cemetery. It is open to the public and well worth a visit.

Traveling around Scandinavia, you will see a lot of grave hills from stone-age or later. Here in Snæbum there are actually 3 chambers, whereof the 2 are in the same hill.
Bring along a flash-light, since it is pitch-black dark inside the chamber. This megalith is dated to about 3200 b.c.
