Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Benedetta L8 contributionsI loved my visit to the New Zealand Rugby Museum! It’s a must for any rugby fan, filled with amazing memorabilia and engaging exhibits. The staff were friendly and shared great stories about the sport’s history. The interactive displays, especially the kicking skills section, were a lot of fun. Highly recommend it for anyone interested in rugby!Written 25 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kait79 contributionsGreat little museum. Friendly and helpful staff. Only had time for the bottom part of the museum. Lots of interesting stories and hands on activities for the kids. It was bigger than expected. Lots of local history. Good shop.Written 20 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Trish C1 contributionWent up for a day trip from Wellington. Fun place to visit with kids, our kids are aged 11 and 2. Slides were great fun for our oldest and our youngest enjoyed the inside river ride and toddlers pool the most. The outside water area with slides and bucket was cool, our youngest found it too cold for her to enjoy on this day. On a really hot day it would of been fine for her. Lots of fun, we will be back.Written 8 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Between the stores (and the food court), there was a lack of rubbish bins (either that of they were not made obvious). There was no sense of knowing where stores were in terms of a map, so there was confusion as to what stores were there available if shoppers were from out of town and went in for the first time.Written 15 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - moonlotus18Hamilton, New Zealand2,077 contributionsI came here to watch the National Youth Orchestra performing on a Saturday evening and it was packed. Loved the location which is very central and easy access to cafes and restaurants. Staff and ushers are all friendly and helpful. What a grand feel the inside of the theatre conjures with beautiful drapes, high ceiling, lovely acoustics, comfortable seating, soft lighting, curved staircases. It’s like stepping back into history. Well worth a visit to watch a performance.Written 7 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PalmyGuyPalmerston North, New Zealand146 contributionsLosing oneself in a movie for a couple hours is always a great way to unwind. Been coming here since it opened, seen it go through many changes but it's still awesome we have a complex like this in our city. Sure it's not cheap, $21.50 per adult, then a small mortgage for snacks but I guess they have to make a huge profit, just a shame what used to be cheap night out has gone. Service is great, friendly staff at the candy bar and the cinema/theatre entrance. Yeah we will keep going back,Written 19 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Frankie W18 contributionsWas easy to find and found parking fairly easy. Was a little shabby/tired decor and props. Basic. Was good fun and suitable for the mixture of ages we had in our group.Written 30 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
