- Katie DBrighton and Hove, UK375 contributionsAlmost drove right by it! There is a little car park which has a footpath going around to the Chasm, a boarded walk over so you get a good view.Written 3 February 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- BazzaNelson, New Zealand1 contributionHello Ray,
Thank you so much for an amazing experience today, from the minute you picked us up to drop off ( right to the van)!
You have over delivered on all our expectations for our day out in New Zealand’s beautiful playground..
Your humour, knowledge and yet personal hosting was a real treat.
You should be very proud of what you provide to your customers, I have travelled the globe, and Fiordland Tours is World Class.
We will spread the good news of what you can offer.
These are tough times for your industry and wish you all the very best for the new season that is coming.
Kind regards
Barry and Pauline

We chose VIP Tour because of their great reviews and were not disappointed.
By arrangement Reece picked us up in an 18 seat tour van from our accommodation. There were a total of 11 in our bus that day. We had paid for a packed lunch which was worth the extra small cost.
Reece, the friendly driver was a fountain of knowledge having done the tour for over 20 years. The scenery was amazing; we stopped at various places going to and on the way back from Milford Sound so Reece could show us various points of interest.
Given that in the peak tourist times before Covid there were daily, approx 100 buses going to and fro from Milford but on our day there was our group plus a small group from another bus in the car park at Milford which had spaces for scores of buses.
On our boat trip I counted about 25 people including a few kids. The boat's captain through out the trip told us of various points of interest pointing out penguins on the shore, seals basking on the rocks or pods of dolphins which came up to the side of the boat and put a real show on. You could almost reach out and touch them.
We were lucky in that the day was brilliantly fine and the sea was calm. There were the usual waterfalls to see and these are amazing but of course when it is raining there are a lot more.
All in all it was an amazing trip which we thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to anyone.Written 14 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Happygal834 contributionsWe watched Nightmares Alley. It was an interesting movie.. the experience was well worth it.
Friendly, accommodating staff. Big oversize comfortable seats.. plenty of room for snack. Nice size modern cinema. Bonus was having drinks at the cinema. Had a chocolate cocktail which was heavenly.. and they bring it in to you.. what service. I like that they had an intermission.. highlight of our trip.Written 12 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - kiwiflyer10auckland164 contributionsLoved our trip to the Milford sound. Long day but definitely worth it. Bus was comfortable and commentary was informative but not boring. Gabe the driver knew the roads well and we stopped and took lots of good photos on the way there. Cruise was really good. Saw countless amounts of waterfalls as it was raining. Couldn’t hear commentary inside the boat but staff were happy to answer questions. Trip back into Queenstown was good as there was no commentary - time to relax.Written 17 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Tarn3 contributionsWe had the best time on our overnight cruise. Everything was fabulous - the crew, the food, the boat, the other guests, the weather, the fishing & kayaking, and of course the spectacular sounds! Love, love, loved James!

- Angela BParaparaumu, New Zealand4 contributionsLove this company. Arrived in Queenstown airport to do the Routeburn and discovered two packs plus our walking poles hadn't arrived. The airport was less than helpful. Rang Tracknet who told me there is an agreement with the airport where they will put our gear (when it turns up) on the 6am Tracknet bus and take it to Te Anau around 9.15am free of charge. Such a relief as the airport was saying it would cost $1,000 per pack to courier it out! They were fantastic to book with; really accommodating picking us up from the airport then collecting us the following day from our accomodation to take us to the start of the track. When we looked at options to store our 'after tramp holiday bags' they again were great, taking our bags from Te Anau to Queenstown and storing them for $15 per bag. Would definitely use them again.Written 29 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
