- Angela BParaparaumu, New Zealand4 contributionsLove this company. Arrived in Queenstown airport to do the Routeburn and discovered two packs plus our walking poles hadn't arrived. The airport was less than helpful. Rang Tracknet who told me there is an agreement with the airport where they will put our gear (when it turns up) on the 6am Tracknet bus and take it to Te Anau around 9.15am free of charge. Such a relief as the airport was saying it would cost $1,000 per pack to courier it out! They were fantastic to book with; really accommodating picking us up from the airport then collecting us the following day from our accomodation to take us to the start of the track. When we looked at options to store our 'after tramp holiday bags' they again were great, taking our bags from Te Anau to Queenstown and storing them for $15 per bag. Would definitely use them again.Written 29 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Hil SWanaka, New Zealand54 contributionsBooked a shuttle at very short notice from the end of the track (Rainbow Reach) back to Te Anau. Communication was excellent and when we arrived the taxi was already there. It is a perfect option if you want to be a bit flexible re timing. There is cellphone reception just past Moturau Hut on the way out and I booked the shuttle for 1.5 hours later. They have a fixed price of $46 for this shuttle. You only need your credit card details handy for the booking. They also do shuttles to/from all other tracks in the area.Written 29 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ClaudiainDunedinDunedin, New Zealand21 contributionsOne of the most memorable adventures of the year! My friend Flo and I spent half a day fishing with our wonderful guide Ken on the river. Our morning was perfect - beautiful weather, stunning scenery (the upper Waiau is an incredibly beautiful river, surrounded by native forest with mountains in the background), hot coffee, and plenty of trout to try and catch. But what really made the day was getting to spend time with Ken, who is one of the most genuine, warm, caring and interesting people we had the pleasure to get to know. He went above and beyond to make our time memorable. We tried three different techniques, we learned so much thanks to Ken's patient teachings. This is a trip we will always remember and cherish. Thank you Ken - and also Pam for the great communication ahead of our trip.
