Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I took a cruise on Milford Sound, which is really a fjord. My boat was the Milford Explorer. I sat on the top deck and enjoyed the scenery. The sun was warm, but the breeze made me glad I had a jacket on.

Bowen Falls are 160 m/525 ft tall. The trees on the sides of the fjord have their roots on the rock. There is no soil. Thus when a tree falls, it can take others with it in a tree avalanche. You can see two tree avalanches in my photo. We saw the waterfalls known as the Four Sisters. New Zealand fur seals were resting on the rocks at Copper Point.

We sailed out to the entrance of the fjord. On the way back, we got up close to Stirling Falls, 151 m/495 ft tall. It was like the Maid of the Mist at Niagara Falls as we passed close to the falls.

The Milford Explorer is a bot smaller than some of the other ships, so we can get closer to the sights. All in all, I'd recommend this cruise.

I particularly loved the wing doors on the Tesla and all the glass, I felt like royalty!! Nigel even found my phone for me which I lost at Milford Sound...what a super fellow. HIGHLY RECOMMEND NIGEL AND HIS SUPER CAR!!!!!

Charles was a great guide, we loved the scenery all the way along the drive and Milford Sound was stunning despite a wet afternoon. Would highly recommend using this company, especially to avoid the stuffy big charter bus tours.

From the jaw dropping views of Mt Cook to the scenic drive through Arthur's Pass and the breathtaking beauty of Milford Sound, every moment felt like new adventure. You can really picture yourself standing there, taking all in- its that incredible.
Our guide was fantastic, super knowledgeable and genuinely cared about making our trip memorable. Every recommendation he gave, weather it was a spot for lunch or a hidden gem to check out, was spot on. He knew the area like the back of his hand and made sure we got the most out of every stop.
If you are planning a trip to Queenstown, this tour is a must. It's perfect for the one who looking to explore best of what this stunning region has to offer. It's worth the money you spend. Highly recommend!

Sasha was the best guide ever. She is such an accomplished woman. She is experienced in so many avenues and has hiked seemingly all of the tracks. She made our trip. The jetboat was fun and we enjoyed John's humor too. Ray is an excellent tour operator
