    Milford Sound from Te Anau
    Fantastic day trip fromTeAnau to Milford Sound. Smaller bus with wonderful driver Sasha who was a local, and provided so much interesting commentary along the way. Plenty of pit stops at waterfalls and photo ops, and we also purchased the lunch pack which was yummy- the best sandwiches and plenty of treats! Highly recommend

    Beautiful experience a must do!
    Amazing experience! The boat was a perfect size and plenty of room for moving about to get the best view at the time, very comfortable and fantastic and interesting commentary on points of interest. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate on board. Highly recommend and can definitely see why it is so highly rated.

    MUST DO!!!
    This is a must do!!!! Fantastic views and loved the tour guide too. She was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. The bus is very comfortable. This is the best way to travel to The Sounds.

    A great day with Steve, oh and Milford Sound was pretty good too!!
    From pick-up to drop off the entire day was amazing. We were picked up at our holiday park accommodation, exactly where our documentation indicated. Steve, our driver & host for the day, greeted us with the warmest NZ welcome. A few other pick-ups along the way, then we were off - heading from Te Anua to Milford Sound.

    The timing of our arrival into Milford Sound marina was perfect. We were dropped at the the door, then walked straight into the cruise. No waiting or killing time. As we passed through the Marina terminal we were provided with packed picnic lunches (our tour group was one of only a few that were provided with lunch).

    The cruise itself was amazing, with many waterfalls visible (it had been raining) as well as a display by some dolphins. Images and photos of Milford Sound don't do it justice as it is spectacular when cruising through it.

    Overall, it was an amazing day. Highly recommend Cheeky Kiwi Travel.

    No Doubt that it was a great experience
    We did this cruise today and we're really pleased that we chose Doubtful Sound over Milford Sound as the road to MS has been closed for a week.
    It was a 7 hour experience and even though it was a cold, wet day, the boats and coach were warm and comfortable. Food could be pre-ordered and collected at Lake Manapouri or you could bring your own. There was free tea and coffee aboard the boat taking us across the lake or you could purchase other beverages. Food and drinks could also be purchased on the boat which took us around the sound.
    All the staff were friendly and helpful and we picked up lots of interesting information from the commentary.
    The scenery is spectacular and it is just a lovely, relaxing day.

    Great excursion
    I highly recommend this excursion. The group was small and the tour bus comfortable. Our guide, Ro, was great. She was knowledgeable about the area, told interesting stories and made just the right number of photo stops and short hikes.

    Memory Maker!
    We loved our flights with Andrew and Andrew and the boat captain let our little one sit up on the bridge and chat with him! The scenery was AMAZING and we saw seals and penguins. This trip was an intergenerational trip with me ( Grandma) and my sons, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. I'll remember it forever.

    Great experience with Soap.
    Great overall experience. Milford sound is a beautiful place. Soap was an excellent driver, host, and entertainer. He made being in the van for so long much easier to endure. I fully recommend this trip.

    An amazing experience ! A must do if you are in Queenstown.
    If you are going to Queenstown you MUST do the flight over to Milford sound with Air Milford. Best time of our entire NZ holiday. Simply amazing views of the mountains and the Sound that you will not get to see anyway else.

    Awesome Milford Trip
    This was a highlight experience! The flight from Queenstown to Milford covers awesome terrain - huge beautiful mountains and lush bush valleys. Arriving into Milford is a thrill - such a unique place, and a funky airstrip! Milford Sound is totally majestic, especially with the recent snow down into the bushline and so many waterfalls. The Sound was absolutely streaming water! I worked in Fiordland for a number of years but coming back I was still blown away - it truly is such a special part of NZ. Thanks to your great staff and the awesome trip, Glenorchy Air :)

    Excellent experience for my family
    From the moment our trip was confirmed early in the morning on the 14th of August, we knew we were going to have a very beautiful experience; however, I am lost for words on how great it was and struggle to find the right ideas to express on this review. The group was small to make the experience personal, my son got the chance to see the hangar and the Cesna planes from very close and he loved every single bit of it. The views and the places we visited are beyond what can be captured on pictures, simply breathtaking. Our pilot Thomas was extremely experienced and knowledgable, he was describing everything we were seeing on both sides of the plane. Milford sound cruise was very sublime, we have not been to a place this beautiful anywhere else, and we do not believe there is such beauty outside Milford Sound. The trip was the highlight of our visit to Queenstonwn and will definitely repeat the experience again in near future. Thank you Thomas, Mikayla, Sara and rest of AirMilford Team!

    What an adventure!
    This was pricey and a long day, coming from Queenstown, but as the only operator, we had no choice. Thankfully, it was a totally brilliant experience from start to finish, and completely worth the money. From the coach to Manapouri (excellent commentary), beautiful trip across the lake, stunning coach trip through Wilmot Pass (despite the diet!), and the tour itself. Conditions were very changeable- very cold, windy and with intermittent showers. But the waterfalls were incredible. The commentary on board was brilliant. We managed to get out to the Tasman Sea despite the weather. Highly recommend- it's such an adventure!

    Dream flight team
    We took two flights with these guys and were so impressed by their calm, cheerful professionalism and knowledge of the local area.

    The first time, they delivered us to a sunny mountain top so we could get married on a freezing winter's day. Our toddler got cold, so the pilots sat inside a helicopter with her, chatting away.

    The second time was to Milford Sound with a glacier landing on the way back. We need to give kudos to Cody for his photo skills - he took so many great pics of us at each landing. Thank you so much!

    We felt like we were in safe hands the whole time.

    Fantastic cruise, enjoy scenic fjords views.
    We took 10.30 time slots and were the first ones to be in the fjords and able to view the fjords in its full glory! Managed to see dolphins as they swim passed us! Overall, fantastic cruise! Must go if you are visiting NZ.
