Recommend talking time to go up the Ben Lomond Track. It was nice to be out and about in Pure nature. Didn't find the walk hard at all. The views are amazing and worth the hike. Suggest taking the gondola up to the luge and start from there to save the legs.

Awesome slopes for all levels of experience. Really well set up, with the base area for rental/toilets/storage/cafe etc. Good ski lifts, plenty of options. While there's car parks, the road up there is a bit dicey when its snowing/icy, my advice is to use the town Snow Center bus service, which is fantastic! Dont bother driving!

Its very efficient service, a great ride and the views are amazing, its worth the trip just to see the views. We went early and were the only ones there so had the luge all to ourselves. It’s a pretty slick operation up there. There is heaps to sit around and watch as well eg paragliders. The souvenir shop was very reasonable.

An experience not to be missed. We had an excellent pilot who shared his obvious love of this region, pointing out the tracks, lakes and awesome peaks. Having been on the boat in the sounds before, we chose to spend the available few hours walking around the lake to lookout points and a close up view of the waterfalls. The return flight via a different route was even better and we didn't want our day to end. Thank you Glenorchy Air for a very special experience.

Best encounter ever. The wonderful people who make the trip possible are equally as important as Queenstown's stunning scenery. Both the receptionist and the pilot we are travelling with are friendly, accommodating, and helpful.

Flew with Air Milford on Sunday 12 Dec from Invercargill over Fiordland etc to raise money for the Invercargill Charity Hospital. The entire adventure from meeting staff at Invercargill airport through to coming home was outstanding. Beautiful weather, lovely morning tea at Manapouri, excellent flying weather. Highly recommend. Thank you to Hank our pilot and all other staff.

We did this trip early June 2022.

Willie picked us up from Queenstown centre on a custom made truck which was a refuge from the Queenstown cold. He was very knowledgeable of the area and had lots of commentaries and stories - e.g. Why is it called 'the Remarkables' (when it was discovered, the compass showed a true north/south axis and the man said 'remarkable!'), a few of the stories such as one of the bridges where a man purposefully diverted the water to make the bridge muddy and unpassable creating a business of pulling coaches with cattle / donkey until his fraud was found).

Great driving skills too! The drive to the bottom of the canyon was very good, scenic and a little close to the edge! But Willie made it entertaining and fun.

At the bottom of the canyon, a river boat greeted us and it was Ben (a 5th generation local from his gold prospecting ancestors) who took us for a ride around the river. It was exhilarating! We got given life jackets and gloves and thankfully the boat had very warm hand warmers! There were some commentary on the some of the key spots including historic bridges. He rode hard and fast in some areas, quite close to the rocky walls and gave us a few spins.

When we did this it was quite cold; around June, I recommend you bring a beanie and definitely go a few layers with a mouth covering as it was cold! We had a 7-year old with us and he coped ok. The boat ride was for a little less than half an hour - well worth the cold!

The drive back to Queenstown was a quieter affair. Thanks Willie and Ben - I recommend this business to everyone; come on give it a go!

Absolutely amazing! We have done this as well as ZipTrek and definitely think this is the best by a long way! Stunning scenery, the guides were great. 10/10. We’ve done a lot of NZ ziplines and this is our favourite so far.

Just finished cycling this most amazingly beautiful and stunning trip. The A2O with Escape by Cycle was well organised with an incredible team to support us all the way. Accommodation and food was outstanding, the weather perfect and an enormous thanks to Ian and Gary for making this an incredible experience.

May 10th we were truly spoilt to been flown into the smallest little station behind QT where we landed and shown round the most fabulous setting in the middle of the high country with original old buildings all refurbished & hopefully soon available for a holiday rental . Wine & an amazing , cheese platter in the sun- what could better that. Choppy and her off sider Rene gave us a fantastic hour or so & more so for me who is / was absolutely terrified of helicopters, they made it a trip to remember for us all. We have not stopped talking about our wonderful afternoon & would thoroughly recommend Over The Top to anyone.
