Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- LilDalyellup, Australia9 contributionsBeautiful and simple gardens, an easy walk and gorgeous view. - Tristan BAdelaide, Australia171 contributionsThere are plenty of great ways to enjoy this absolute beauty that Queenstown has to offer. There are lots of places to go for nice walks to enjoy the scenery, and bar's cafes a plenty. I honestly can't think of going to Queenstown and not wanting to spend time basking in the beauty of the lake.Written 30 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ZannaJakarta, Indonesia21 contributionsThe path is clear. It's an easy track in my opinion yet the view is still wonderful from the top of the hill. Perfect place to zoned out and just breath the fresh air.Written 25 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - pkh213Fairfax, VA172 contributionsRode the Skyline Queenstown to admire the view at the top. Such an amazing landscape below. - abcdefghi2016Melbourne, Australia272 contributions30/9/2024 We started the hike from the top of the gondola (limited time) in the final week of the skiing season. The track is well marked, wide and scenery spectacular !
Hiking boots are ideal as it's steep and if muddy, slippery. It's steep and we were huffing and puffing, but taking it slow and loving the moment of fresh air !
The scenery is spectacular.Written 30 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Hannah L40 contributionsVery relaxing way to spend an hour outside of queenstown, the views are lovely and it's a private relaxing hot tub with a snack and drink included. The shuttle from queenstown was included and prompt. This being said we thought it was expensive for what it is.Written 10 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JMustBath, UK18 contributionsPleasant staff. The experience is more for teenagers than adults. I’m not easily scared, but my gf hates the dark so was terrified throughout.Written 3 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - julesNapier, New Zealand90 contributionsWhat a hoot ! Cute little Icy cold space, incredible sculptures, mega friendly staff. You book for an hour. Not many last that long. Great tasty cocktails & mocktails served in an ice glass , which is curiously fun to smash in to a bin when you are finished.
You are provided with mega warm coats & gloves.
Staff are really friendly, great sounds & atmosphere . Sculptures are awesome.
Must do if you have never done so before.Written 2 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We went for the spa at the end of a day trekking the remarkables and stayed for drinks and dinner and ended up wishing we’d actually booked the hotel accommodation rather than the one we had in central Queenstown. Pricing for food/ accommodation is all very reasonable for the quality, the amazing views and the great customer service provided by the staffWritten 18 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chris GUnited Kingdom8 contributionsCool experience, easy online booking through to well managed check in at the jetty. Ride itself was awesome with Marc our driver.
We drove ourselves to Arthur’s Point as we had booked too late to get the shuttle - not a problem and an easy short journey by car from Queenstown with plenty of parking. Great brewpub nearby to watch the action afterwards.Written 3 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
