- Vacationer7021991 contributionShay was AMAZING! This was a once in a lifetime experience and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Queenstown. The views were some of the best views I have seen in my lifetime, and the e-bike made the ride a breeze. We were driven from Queenstown to Arrowtown where we collected our E-bikes and received all the information we needed for our trip back to Queenstown. Most of our group had never biked this far/long before so were apprehensive before we started, but that quickly changed as we made our way through the fantastic scenery! The trail is clearly signposted so no chance of getting lost and staff beforehand were very informative as well!
This first ride has given me inspiration to do more cycling in New Zealand if/when I get the opportunity!!

It showed us a whole multitude of different views of Queenstown and The Remarkables from different viewpoints. We got to see the most breathtaking views, riding on some easy, but fun, tracks. Being a family with two young boys, Shay adapted the tour for me (“mum”) to be able to keep up and the ebikes were top quality. He really looked after us and threw in enough history/local stories/geography to keep it interesting too. Do it! So worth it. Ksena's and Shay's knowledge of the area and especially Ksena's experience with the wines and the pairings was fantastic. The views were absolutely breathtaking. Beyond that, the scenery was gorgeous and the bike path uncrowded. The company running the outing was tops, picking us up in Queenstown and transporting us to Arrowtown for the ride back to Queenstown. The representative was personable and gave clear instructions. The company was easy to deal with and the guys super friendly. Great scenery. Next time we would do the longer one as need more time if you want to do more than 3 x wine tastings. Staff professional and good humor. While my nephew is a pretty confident rider, Piyush challenged him to expand his expertise - sharing advice and experience across braking, body positioning and cornering skills. Advancing his overall riding technique. All while being a brilliant guide across the many QT Skyline trails. Would highly recommend for a rider at any level. A very enjoyable and fun experience.
