Ferry tides are usually very interesting, as they provide opportunity to see what one cannot see through rides. The wast pool of water, with it’s own flora and fauna. Queenstown ferries are very enjoyable at a low cost.

If needing to get into Queenstown from the airport and want a cheap solution, try catching the Ritchies bus service from outside the terminal. You just need to go out of the terminal, cross to the bus station and wait for the No#1 bus. Normally a 15 min wait max if you have just missed one. It costs 10 dollars NZ to get into central Queenstown (Camp ST bus stop). Going back out to the airport, the cost is the same and the bus goes from the other side of Camp ST that you got in on. Same bus, No#1, going back. The drivers are very helpful. The only issue is the buses are just normal passenger buses and don't have luggage racks to place your suit cases in.That is the only issue I found. Other than that, its the best way into Queenstown or back to the airport.

Came back to Glenorchy for another round of horse riding after 9 years, and I'm still just as amazed by the beauty of the area. This was a great experience and our guide, Teresa was fantastic. She was very friendly passionate about horses. and She taught us about horsemanship before the ride and made sure we felt safe and confident around the horses before heading out for the trek. During the trek, she continued to ensure we were having a good time and that we felt safe, especially for those in the group who had no horse riding experience. Overall, was very pleased with everything. 10/10 would recommend (and be back for more myself haha)

Amy and the crew at Queenstown Snow Transport are great. We booked their service to get us up to The Remarkables Ski Area during the July school holidays. Being able to get up the mountains stress free really enhanced our holiday and made it much more relaxed and enjoyable. No need to worry about parking, and lugging gear from the parking lots. We are already planning on booking this again next year.

Two weeks ago we had the best possible experience with Buckleys transport. Picked up from the Greenstone car park ahead of schedule (they even said they would have come a day earlier if we had rung them - as we walked out a day early).Taken into Queenstown, then dropped at different sites. Friendly courteous and helpful.
Charge for trip only when they were 100% certain we would be able to go. Appreciated they are fully onboard with protecting us all from COVID

When wanting to travel to the Milford track and back from Queenstown, we found Scotties Rental Cars to be a good option. There service was good and prices reasonable.

A TOTAL game changer! In just one 2hr x 1on1 coaching session with Finn - I'm riding 100% more confidently!!!!
I now know what position I should be in, how to break correctly to keep solid and feel safer on my bike. I've had a full suspension bike for 20 years and I didn't realise I'd been riding old style!
After a few injuries I'd lost my confidence, hence going to Finn. Straight after our session I biked at 7 mile and did 3 berms I NEVER do - and was seriously instantly better at everything I did!
He even changed the position of my brakes on my handle bars (I've had it for 5yrs) and made sure each component on my bike was adjusted to suit me!!!
I'm excited to practice what I've learned.
Then I'm going back for another one ASAP ! Awesome

Easy ski is a great way to get to Cardrona without the stress of driving. Our driver Laura grew up in the region and her experience and knowledge of the history was very insightful. She made the trip interesting and entertaining. Hotel pick up made the trip very easy and I recommended highly to anyone! If you get Laura as you driver you will also learn about the area which was pretty cool!

Queenstown Kombi! What an awesome concept, the Kombi looks absolutely gorgeous and was so much fun to go into and strike poses together at our sons birthday party, the instant photo printing and book provides really special memories for both the guests & hosts and delightful entertainment at this interactive space! Chika and her daughter Kaya are such a charming duo too :)

My partner and I were doing the greenstone-caples loop (overnight) from the divide end, using our own transport so hadn't booked anything ourselves for Kinloch side.
Infortuately one day 2, I injured myself so had to pull out while my partner finished the track to get the vehicle.
At the Kinloch end, limping out to the road, with no reception and no plan, Peter drove past to drop someone off. I waved him down and he was happy to take me to queenstown.
He was full of good information about the area he looked into options for me to get to te anau, and made sure I was dropped off right outside the store.
The staff in the store were also super friendly, and happy to help me out, which was a life saver given I was injured.
If we were looking to book shuttles between tracks, I would definitely be using these guys

Very friendly tour guides, Maithri and Shyam. Their driving along the roads was very safe which I appreciated because from past experience with different tour companies, this is not always the case. The scenery at Mount Cook is absolutely beautiful and is a must-see destination in New Zealand.
