Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Skipper’s canyon is not an easy place to get to, so decided to go with a tour operator. And a ‘photo tour’ was a bonus. Martin was great, providing some history as well as some useful photography tips along the way, besides safely navigating the difficult road. Highly recommend!!

Charles was a great guide, we loved the scenery all the way along the drive and Milford Sound was stunning despite a wet afternoon. Would highly recommend using this company, especially to avoid the stuffy big charter bus tours.

We just wrapped up an amazing 3 dat tour of Queenstown, and it was one of the best travel experience we have had as a family. From the jaw dropping views of Mt Cook to the scenic drive through Arthur's Pass and the breathtaking beauty of Milford Sound, every moment felt like new adventure. You can really picture yourself standing there, taking all in- its that incredible.
Our guide was fantastic, super knowledgeable and genuinely cared about making our trip memorable. Every recommendation he gave, weather it was a spot for lunch or a hidden gem to check out, was spot on. He knew the area like the back of his hand and made sure we got the most out of every stop.
If you are planning a trip to Queenstown, this tour is a must. It's perfect for the one who looking to explore best of what this stunning region has to offer. It's worth the money you spend. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing day with Martin. His knowledge of the local areas and his advice on photography was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for Martin, stopping when photo opportunities presented themselves. I have come away with some beautiful photos from around Queenstown and increased knowledge in landscape photography. Thank you for a wonderful day Martin, I hope to be back to join you on another fabulous workshop/day.

I did a morning tour with Glen around the Queenstown area, and it was undoubtedly one of the highlights of my trip to New Zealand. Glen's local knowledge was invaluable in showing us around several amazing locations in the Queenstown and Wanaka area. He was very flexible with timings and picking us up from our accommodation, and his enthusiasm for the day was infectious and made the day really fun.
Glen's knowledge of photography is absolutely fantastic and I found immediately improvements to my photos while on the tour. His knowledge and natural teaching ability are of benefit to novices and seasoned photographers alike. Thanks for the tour!

My husband found AuthenticAs Star Gazing while we were in Queenstown. We contacted Simon and he picked us up from our hotel that night at 9:30 p.m. We drove to Coronet Peak. It was a fairly clear night but with a full moon. It was an incredible experience with Simon pointing out the stars in the sky and providing warm down parkas and binoculars. He also talked about the Maori culture. We were emailed several photos that are truly amazing. We highly recommend this experience. Thanks Simon!

What an amazing and unforgettable experience …I still can’t believe it! Our pilot (Steve) was impeccable both in his flying skills, knowledge, and customer service!! He was fun and interesting and took us to places I would have never thought possible. The variety of scenery and diversity of terrain, as well as, his skill and talent in landing in the many different environments was impressive. We also appreciated the young man in the office (sorry…forgot his name) that greeted us and went over procedures and the areas that we would cover. He was friendly and very professional. An all around memorable and exciting day! Very highly recommend …a definite bucket list trip!!

We highly recommend this tour because it is well planned, covering many famous attractions and activities. Despite traveling over 1600km we never felt tired because each stop was carefully planned and managed by our guide. The vehicle was comfortable and cleaned daily. Our guide, RV was passionate, knowledgeable, and followed the best driving practices.

Here is a tip for all travelers: If you have limited time in New Zealand and want to see the best attractions and activities without hassle of booking and coordinating, choose this tour. You won't regret it! Thank you RV and Wainate Journeys for making this trip memorable for u

Great day out with the Private Wanaka and Arrowtown tour. Wayne was an amazing host, telling us all about the areas we drove through. We stopped at some amazing places for a photo as well as longer stops for lunch, a drink, etc. He even fit in an extra stop as we had a bit of time.
Would highly recommend any tour with Remarkable Scenic Tours and we look forward to revisiting NZ and going on another tour. Thanks again Wayne!!

We went to Glenorchy and Skippers in New Zealand on 6th Feb 2024. This we did from our hotel in Queenstown. It was around 7 hours of photography tour and we loved every bit of it. Skippers and Glenorchy are in opposite directions from Queenstown and the landscape in both these places is also different from one another. Skippers has rugged , canyon like landscape and Glenorchy is lakes, meadows, hills (typical of South island) . Road to Glenorchy has several super beautiful places where you will be compelled to take snaps. The scenery is so amazing that we can't believe we went to those places when we look at the photos today. We went halfway towards Paradise from Glenorchy and out there was a place where we found just us and sheep and beautiful landscape and fresh air.

Our Tour Guide Aistl is very joyful, talkative, knowledgeable and helpful. She treated Me and My wife like old friends. We had one of the most enjoyable times with her on the 20 day New Zealand and Australia Trip. She called us a day in advance and confirmed the participation. Then she asked us where we wish to travel from Queenstown. She recommended Skippers for its different landscape. In Skippers she took us to those scenic hill tops and herself walked to a nearby hill top (actually top of a canyon) walking in her flip flops and took several wonderful photos using our camera. My wife wanted to drive the car in NZ (she has an INTL license) and Aistl gladly obliged. Aistl would not let a moment of boredom come with her interesting stories about life in NZ, her home country and our own culture. It was fun filled 7-8 hrs with her with several photographs. We would certainly recommend this tour for the guide and the different scenary

Excellent photography tour with Martin. Learnt a lot about composition and the art of photography. Took some great photos. Benefited immensely from Martin's local knowledge. Will love to take another tour with Martin and see more of the region.

I recently took a day trip with my friends to Mt Cook, and it was an incredible experience. The drive there offers stunning views, especially of the turquoise waters of Lake Pukaki. Once at Mt Cook, we enjoyed a scenic walk on Hooker Valley Track, which is great for all ages. Our guide provided a bunch of snacks which was great as we had it at Glacier Lake surrounded by breathtaking views of glaciers. The car was comfortable and organized. Our guide RV took beautiful pictures of us. Highly recommend!
Just a small tip to travelers that wear comfortable shoes if you are keen for hike and layer of clothes due to weather.
