Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- FireMoonNew York City, NY6 contributionsThe ONLY wine tasting you need to go to. Staff is friendly and fun! Excellent service, stories, history and experience! Make a reservation for weekends if you can. Located on a brand new, clean modern dock with plenty of parking. We walked 75 minutes an amazing waterfront path from Queenstown to the winery so no driving for us! Local food /cafe available at dock too.Written 12 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Informative host, relaxed environment and fabulous views. Once our wine tasting was complete we headed to the bistro for a light bite and glass of wine.
We were warmly greeted and seated, then informed there was a QR code on the table to take our order. This is not what we expected from a venue such as this. I am not anti-technology - there is a time and place for tech, but after such fabulous interaction with the staff at the tasting experience, it felt a little incongruous.
Using the QR Code removed the human element and I feel this is a real shame. The Kinross team that we did deal with were fabulous and could have very easily convinced us to stay longer or order more.
Overall, it was a great afternoon - amazing venue, tasty food and fab location!Written 29 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is just a short and inexpensive water taxi ride across the lake from the Queenstown wharf so you get to experience the lake as a bonus. The wines were fabulous and the charming wine maker Ngarita was on hand to ask all our questions and talk us through the tasting. It is a great way to taste excellent wines from Three Miners located in the Alexandra region and some other wineries local to that area, a bonus if you don’t have time to visit in person. Don’t miss this if you are a wine lover.Written 19 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Neil M34 contributionsThis is the place for all wine lovers to go, two locations, Queenstown and Arrowtown. The selection of wine on tasting is amazing, gin & whisky also along with cheese & charcuterie boards to accompany the wine. You take yourself on a self guided journey sampling whatever you desire, most grape varieties are represented. I’m from the Hunter Valley 🍷 in NSW, I visited when I was here last year and again when I was there last week, I’m a big fan. Special thanks to Shannon 🇺🇸 and Anna 🇮🇹 for their outstanding and informative service, don’t miss this wonderful place!!!Written 21 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Thank you, Beatrice for a great wine testing: very knowledgeable, entertaining and lots of fun. Will be thinking of good time in Queenstown when drinking your delicious wines. Highly recommended!
