Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I adored our time doing through the Tim Wilson gallery and were mesmerised by his beautiful work. We're not usually huge art gurus but you can't help but be awed by these paintings. Rachel was such a lovely host and brought deeper meaning and significance to every piece by sharing the backstories and helping us to recognise and appreciate each detail and technique. It was also very special to be in Tim's very home as we soaked in his beautiful work. We would highly recommend this to anyone, it is not to be missed!

The owner was friendly and kindly wrapped my purchases in bubble wrap when she knew I was flying with them. A large variety of quality crystals available and reasonably priced. Worth a visit, I'm sure you'll find something you like.

We were looking for ski boots for my daughter who has a serious orthopaedic disability, but with the right boots, really enjoys skiing. The two blokes who do the fitting, Rowan and later Haggis (yes he is Scottish), would not have been more helpful. They went to endless trouble to identify what needed to be done and found a pair of boots that we hired for the day. My daughter had a great day, which would not have happened without these guys' help.

Haven't had the lollies but love this shop for the fudge. Love the decor and the overall look of the shop. There are so many flavors to try, it can be hard to choose, but the staff are all really friendly and are happy for you to try as many samples as you like (even though it's encouraged I feel a bit awkward trying too many haha). If, like me, you find fudge to be overpoweringly sweet, there are options with coffee and dark chocolate which aren't as sickly as others (I bought the flat white fudge and dark chocolate raspberry fudge), although that probably works in your favor as you can more easily ration your fudge haha. I like that the pieces are pre cut and wrapped which streamlines the buying process ($8.80 per 100gm, so you could ask them to choose a smaller or larger piece if you want, but they are all around the 100gm mark give or take) however I do wish you could purchase half sizes as well (you used to be able to buy minimum 50gm squares before they were pre cut and wrapped). They offer a six pack of quarter size (150gm pack) so if you like all the flavors in the pack you get a little more bang for your buck. There are larger packs as well if you're not fussy about which flavors. Fudge in general isn't cheap and neither is Queenstown haha so the price is pretty reasonable. Definitely a must do when in Queenstown.

Spent a lovely few hours in this shop making myself a pair of earrings and a matching bracelet. Lots of readymade jewellery in the shop to either buy or use as inspiration for your own creation. The staff will help you finish off your jewellery once you have designed it. Very reasonably priced!

I was walking along the Marine Parade by the beach and noticed the shop. At first, I wasn't sure what it was since the building was quite old. I did think it could have been a gallery but there was a sign on the side of the building that it was a shop.
The first room on the right has some information about the cottage as well as some relics of the past. The rooms are quite small so it was interesting walking around. You get more of the shop items as you head deeper into the shop. The contents were quite interesting with plenty of New Zealand specific items including many prints and souvenirs. I thought it was a nice little shop with an interesting history and items for sale.

It was a pleasure browsing a range of stylish seconds clothing at this store. The sizing is easily identified; the assistant was very helpful without being intrusive and I went away with a treasure!

The night at the Steamer Wharf was so charming, peaceful yet vibrant. The best view of the waterfront town centre even at a bit chilly night in late January.

Great little shop with a huge selection of sweets from all over the world. Being fond of licorice, we bought a tub full of every kind imaginable, and it is the best we have ever tasted. The allsorts were OK, nothing special, but the rest were outstanding. Prices were a little expensive, but you expect that when travelling.

After an adventure in NZ I was wandering Queenstown looking for something nice for my wife. I spent a good sum of money on myself while here with friends and now I needed something special. Bruna assisted me in finding the perfect gift. I almost didn't care about the price because she pointed me in the right direction and went above and beyond by wearing the coat and highlighting the stylish and unique features. This is one gift I cannot wait to present her with... Thanks Bonz for your quality and unique products. BRUNA - your expertise and help is much appreciated!

We were so happy with our rental gear from Outside Sports. Lincoln set us up with top notch expert ski’s and boots, my son absolutely loved his ski’s which were in excellent condition as were mine.

Would absolutely rent from these guys, they were cheaper than a lot of others and much better quality equipment with almost new gear and well tuned.

See Lincoln as he was incredibly generous in refunding us for the days we couldn’t ski due to mountain conditions. What a nice change from the gouging that occurs in Australian resorts. We’ll be back!

I visited Amisfield this afternoon and had a wonderful tasting experience courtesy of Ella. Very knowledgeable and informative, I was able to blind taste the three Pinots on today, try it, I’ll let you decide which one you think is best…
Well worth a visit, I hear the restaurant is outstanding!
