- Stay234537764751 contributionGreat day out from Te Anau. Small bus tour (provided by Trips and Tramps) combined with the Milford Sound Cruise by Mitre Peak. Our bus driver made expert commentary both ways and there were plenty of photo stops at points of interest. Mitre Peak are a smaller cruise, but less crowded and able to get close up to waterfalls. Stan was our driver/guide and kept us entertained/informed throughout our day.
The coach was excellent, Stan was a great driver and the scenery was fantastic. Don't skip the coach trip - it flies by and is an excellent part of the experiment.

Great Blue Cod.The captain was so welcoming and informative as we toured the sound, I would go down the list of the entire crew if I remembered everyone's name. Suffice it to say that everyone cared that we enjoyed the experience. This private tour had lots value even when considering the cost. Beautiful and unique way to experience Fiordland, seeing rare black coral and hundreds of crayfish!
