Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The boat was less than half full on the 14.45 cruise after the coaches had left, for the journey back to Queenstown.

Lots of room inside and out.

Free tea coffee and choc chip cookies, as much as you want.

Skipper very informative with what to look out for i.e penguins, seals, took us close up to the water falls.
Beautiful place, like the Norwegian fjords but smaller.

Such a great overall experience. Took the whole trouble out of travelling ourselves to Milford and had a wonderful time with Nigel who provided us with much information of the surrounding areas as well as prime spots for our cruise. Very personalised experience and felt trouble free for the entirety thanks to Nigel.

Charles was a great guide, we loved the scenery all the way along the drive and Milford Sound was stunning despite a wet afternoon. Would highly recommend using this company, especially to avoid the stuffy big charter bus tours.

We just wrapped up an amazing 3 dat tour of Queenstown, and it was one of the best travel experience we have had as a family. From the jaw dropping views of Mt Cook to the scenic drive through Arthur's Pass and the breathtaking beauty of Milford Sound, every moment felt like new adventure. You can really picture yourself standing there, taking all in- its that incredible.
Our guide was fantastic, super knowledgeable and genuinely cared about making our trip memorable. Every recommendation he gave, weather it was a spot for lunch or a hidden gem to check out, was spot on. He knew the area like the back of his hand and made sure we got the most out of every stop.
If you are planning a trip to Queenstown, this tour is a must. It's perfect for the one who looking to explore best of what this stunning region has to offer. It's worth the money you spend. Highly recommend!

We highly recommend this tour because it is well planned, covering many famous attractions and activities. Despite traveling over 1600km we never felt tired because each stop was carefully planned and managed by our guide. The vehicle was comfortable and cleaned daily. Our guide, RV was passionate, knowledgeable, and followed the best driving practices.

Here is a tip for all travelers: If you have limited time in New Zealand and want to see the best attractions and activities without hassle of booking and coordinating, choose this tour. You won't regret it! Thank you RV and Wainate Journeys for making this trip memorable for u

Just returned from a fantastic trip from Dunedin to Christchurch, and I highly recommend this well-planned itinerary. It can be hard to find a tour from Dunedin that cover top attractions and sightseeing but this one does perfectly. Our guide was exceptional always went above and beyond to making sure we were comfortable throughout the journey.
The car we traveled in was very comfortable with extra legroom, a crucial feature when you're spending a lot of time on the road. This made the journey even more relaxing and enjoyable. What I love the most is how stress-free the entire experience was. No driving, no coordinating schedules, no worrying about GPS - just sit back and relax while everything is taken care of. The guide handled all the details, from transport to timing, which made the trip so easy and enjoyable.
We loved Glowworm cave and along with that stunning Milford Sound drive. Surrounded by nature and breathtaking spots, we were even lucky enough to spot the Kea Bird. Our guide took a great picture of us with the Kea, which was such a special moment. My son loved the Hooker Valley Track which ends with Glacier Lake, and of course the mesmerizing turquoise waters of Lake Tekapo-absolutely unforgettable. Every place we visited was picture perfect and beautiful.
This tour was perfect choice for us, the itinerary is packed with top activities, great accommodations and seamless transport. It's hassle free and makes the most of your time. If you are thinking about booking this tour, don't hesitate-you definitely won't regret it!
