- Brent B4 contributionsDon’t miss this tour! It was an incredible day filled with stunning vistas, breathtaking boat ride and unparalleled views on the flight home. Don’t skimp…take the plane back! The scenery from the air is the only thing that can beat spectacular views from the ground. Our guide was incredibly friendly and informative. We were extremely nervous about checking in and that they may not have all the information they needed from us, however, it could not have been smoother! Everything from check in until drop off was very smooth and well organized. Our tour guide, Dan, was excellent and very informative. The bus was clean and well maintained as well. - S G1 contributionWe took the coach-cruise-coach from Queenstown to Milford and back in the day. Stan was our driver and he was awesome! Great chatter but not too much, lots of fun, knew the local info. The coach was comfortable and the views from it were spectacular! Stan knew what was around each corner and would slow down for the pics. We stopped at the Mirror Lakes which was well worth it. Buffet lunch on the cruise was lovely, good selection and well organised. Our only suggestion would be take your own snacks as the queues at Te Anau restaurant were too long with multiple coaches stopped at the same time - we spent the whole 30min stop in the queue waiting. Tanya was great, was really informative with incredible knowledge of the area and its history. Made the trip enjoyable and memorable, she an absolute character. We had a great time!

Picked up from Queenstown driven by coach down to Milford Sound for a 2 hour cruise. We had planned to fly back but had to come back by coach because weather dicey. Beautiful drive so not too disappointed. Our tour guide, Stan, was fabulous. So glad we did not self drive, we would not have enjoyed the scenery if we did, and we would not have known about the history or background. Buffet on board boat was great. Just did not enjoy price gouging of tourists in shops/cafes along the route.
