Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Dave MDunblane, UK172 contributionsWell worth a visit if you’re in Dunedin. Lovely part of town. Stroll along the prom and then down onto the beach, or watch the surfers, for a bite to eat I’d recommend Titi a really good restaurant or The Esplanade for Italian.Written 17 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BL33S3DDunedin, New Zealand2 contributionsStayed in the freedom camp area. Absolute blissful peaceful night! It was Summer, No insects, mozies, sandflies, or anything else which was great. Porta loos available closely to use, very clean as only a few campers at that time. No prickles in the grass area. I had my two qee dogs in the camper, someone else had a dog also so assuming it's OK as long as in camper/under control? Weather quite warm in the mid 20s. Stayed a few nights. Will stay again as it's the quietest place at night. Lost of space to park and a great beach just a 5 minute walk.Written 31 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
