We enjoyed the walk around the well set out gardens. The area appears to be larger due to the well set out planting areas.
    A most worthwhile relaxing visit

Beautifully done with respect and hospitality. Great explanations of meanings behind each area. An insight into a different world with connections to Dunedin.

Gardens are marvellous - what a lovely wander of exploration! Cafe was lovely - only reason for 4 stars was the slightly limited menu which was a bit more restaurant-y. The ginger crunch slice was yummy though and seemed to be home made!

This is the outcome of years of hard work by the local Lions Club, turning the old quarry into a fabulous rhododendron garden. Stunning views down over the town centre and the port, and lots of historical information. We were there in April but it would be stunning when all the rhodos are out in flower! Highly recommended.

What a great walk, right in the middle of the City, great collection of tracks with the native bush and birds. Variety of tracks depending on time allowed. Would be good in the summer with all the picnic spots, bbq and play areas.

Would not be the place I would choose to spend time at while in Dunedin. There are a few statues and there is the Settlers Museum and the Chinese Garden which are worth visiting. It can be quite busy with traffic, maybe 10 minutes max.

One of the most fiendish mini golf courses I have played. But definitely well set up and fun. Wal's Plant and Fun land is a couple of km off the highway to the airport. It's a great place to stop for a cuppa, and a round of mini golf on your way out of Dunedin.
