Our Tour guide, Ron, was very information; however, the weather was not coorperating with us. It started of with some drizzle as we went to see the the steepest street in the world, and then to Anzac Square where we saw the beautiful City Hall of Dunedin. The rain started to fall as we drove to Larnach Castle where we had coffee and snacks, before going on the tour of the castle. The castle was very nice, but it was not very big. The story of the family, as narrated by the castle guide was more intriguing and interesting than the tour itself. Then off to the Speight's beer brewery and Ron (from Speight's) took us on a tour of the brewery and showed us how the beer was made. We then had a treat sampling the various beers that they brewed. The trip was quite enjoyable in spite of the rain.
