Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Take a stroll along the pier towards the favourite fishing spots at the far end, or a wander along the extensive sandy shoreline. Beautiful views, especially to the south. Public hot pools close by also.Written 6 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Johnny L GaytonBonaire, GA1,451 contributionsThe view is breathtaking. It is well worth the drive to see this part of New Zealand. Be aware that it can be very windy. - teamtilbrookChristchurch32 contributionsIt's amazing how you forget what's in your back yard .I'm christchurch east born and breed .and the beach is still an amazing place to seek comfort with a good friend as the water laps at your legs and the sun warns your soul . The beach was clean with just the normal sea things washed up .And the surf club on duty .so go enjoy what's on your back yard at the beachWritten 17 January 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
