- Alys847Dunedin, New Zealand143 contributionsDone the trip 3 times now and this was the best one yet. What made it so good was the personal sound system with a documentary. For the first time we were able to understand all the details of the scenery and the building of the line and viaducts. The carriage we were in was smooth riding and there was virtually no rail noise. The cafe was adequate and I had some excellent coffee. The food, while somewhat limited, was enjoyable. We also had an icecream.
